Spiritual Residues

Good morning

Scripture reading: Ezekiel 36:25-27

Worship sing: Empty me, Lord

Meditation:

Imagine a wastebasket filled yet you willfully continue to cram trash into it resulting in waste spilling onto the floor. This pattern demonstrates a heart filled with spiritual baggage that leaves no room for divine contentment, peace, growth, or new insight. Carrying the weight of past sins and unresolved guilt creates a roadblock, suffocating our inner growth. When the vessel is too full of life's daily mess, the spill pollutes our relationships as it diverts us from our divine purpose.

Let the spiritual residue be a positive, transformative imprint left behind when you spend dedicated time in communion with God. They that looked at you, must do so in amazement, beholding the reflection of Jesus Christ in your life. (Acts 4:13 Let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1). Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, declares the Lord, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. (Ezekiel 36:25)

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come in agreement with the prophet Malachi that You are like a refiner's fire and a fuller's soap, cleansing the vilest of sinners who genuinely repent of their iniquities. Lord, we praise You for Your power to cleanse us and for the grace You freely give to pardon our transgressions. Lord, we acknowledge our transgressions and the sins we have committed against You. Forgive us, Almighty God, from all categories of wrongdoings known and unknown. Forgive us, Lord, for rebelling against You, serving baal gods, and disobeying Your commands. We ask, O God, for your divine mercy. Purify and cleanse our hearts from all sins that easily besets us. Wash us thoroughly from all iniquities, and renew a right spirit within us through Your divine power. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💕🙏
