The Enemy Was Crushed
Good morning
Scripture reading: Exodus 14:21-30
Worship song: Let Your Power Fall
Meditation:
The most stubborn and hardened heart can shatter under the crushing weight of profound tragedy. God gave Moses specific instructions to speak to Pharaoh and demand the release of the children of Israel, but Pharaoh stubbornly refused. The tragic loss of Pharaoh's firstborn son broke his stubbornness, compelling him to end the enslavement of the children of Israel. Nonetheless, his immediate remorse prompted him to deploy his army to pursue them.
Upon realizing their enemies were in pursuit, the Israelites panicked and rebelled against Moses. Still, God saved them from their enemies for His name's sake so that they could witness His mighty miraculous power. Obeying God's command Moses rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up. He then led the Israelites through the depths, as through the wilderness to safety and the water returned to its position destroying Pharaoh's chariots and his army.
When the enemy
shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift a standard
against him. For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for
you against your enemies to give you victory.
Let us pray:
Miracle-working God, thank you for Your divine protection
and comprehensive blood coverage. Thank you, Almighty God, for protecting us
from Pharaoh's army and the enemy that seeks to hold us hostage. Thank You,
Lord, for the angels You have sent to rescue us from the adversary. We give
thanks to You, Almighty God, for clearing a way through the impossible Red Seas
for us. Soften our unyielding hearts, O God, break us until we renounce
self-control, and willingly surrender to Your love. When we become fearful or
overwhelmed by the scheme of our enemies, remind us that You are the God who
sustains, protects, rescues, strengthens, and keeps us safe. Remind us, O God,
that if you are for us, no one can prevail against us. Lord, recognizing that
vengeance and vindication belong to You alone, we humbly pray for Your
protection, asking that You shield us from the malice, snares, and assaults of
our adversaries. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💕🙏
Cover us with your blood dear Lord
