What's In Your Hand
Good Morning
Scripture reading: Exodus 4:1-3
Worship song: Hands of Jesus
Meditation:
God can utilize ordinary objects, existing skills, or limited resources to achieve extraordinary miracles. He demonstrated His absolute authority over mankind and nature by transforming the ordinary staff Moses held in His hand into a powerful symbol of His power. From a youth's hands, Jesus received five barley loaves and two fish, blessed them, and multiplied them to satisfy the multitudes. (St. John 6: 9-12). Samson defeated a thousand enemies with a donkey's jawbone (Judges 15:15).
David courageously
approached Goliath with five smooth stones and a sling, successfully triumphing
over the giant. (1 Samuel 17:40-49). What is in your hands? Entrust your
limited resources to God, who can turn the ordinary into an extraordinary
achievement and watch Him unlock your true potential. Lay down your burdens and
place your hardships in the hands of Jesus. Jesus assured the disciples that
with God all things are possible, even those deemed impossible by humans. (St.
Matthew 19:26).
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, I am profoundly grateful to You for the
assurance of unlocking our true potential. Thank You, for demonstrating Your
absolute authority over humanity and nature. Father, we stand upon Your Word
that nothing is impossible with You. We entrust our limited resources, our
frustrations, weaknesses, and everything we control into Your hands, Almighty
God. Empower us, O God, to grow beyond our current limits so we can serve Your
greater purpose. Almighty God, empower us with the wisdom to recognize the
tools You have already placed in our lives and give us the courage to step out
in faith, and the grace to trust You with the results. In the name of Jesus
Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful day. 💞🙏👐
Subject like these spark healthy discussions. There are things in all of us hands but fear, lack of confidence, doubt are some of the crippling factors that prevent one from using what they got. When we know these things and do nothing about it, it renders one useless. Let us all do something about it. 🙏🙏
