Topic: The Way That Seems Right

    Many individuals are unaware of the Bible's significance, and some who are acquainted with it dedicate little to no time seeking guidance and direction from its teachings. The Bible serves as our compass, with the Holy Spirit as our guide, leading us along the heavenly highway. This highway is referred to as the way of holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it; only the redeemed shall do so (Isaiah 35:8-9). 

    The psalmist recognized its value and expressed this in his words: "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have hidden  Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You".(Psalm 119:11,105). He also prayed: "Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth, and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation. Lead me down the path that leads to eternal life" (Psalm 25). The highway to salvation is long, narrow, and winding, but perseverance is essential. 

    You may encounter many obstacles, trials, and tribulations along the way, but do not quit. The way to success is never easy, and so is the highway that leads to Heaven. If one's lifestyle is contrary to God's commandments and precepts, one cannot travel on this highway. The ungodly cannot walk this path for their hearts are evil, and their speech is guile. There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end leads to death. Are you on God's highway? Jesus is the way, the Bible is the compass, and the Holy Spirit is your guide. 

Let us pray:

    Savior, more than life itself to me, please bind me closer to You and let me feel Your cleansing power. Lord, as I journey along the highway that leads to Heaven with the redeemed, let Your word serve as a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Almighty God, direct my steps according to Your word and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Keep my tongue from evil, O God, and my lips from speaking guile. Lead and guide me, Jehovah God, through the narrow and winding path that leads to salvation. When I become weary, when my faith is tested, and I struggle to overcome obstacles along the way, lead and direct me, mighty God, until I reach my eternal home through Jesus Christ, the way, the truth, and the light. Amen.

Good morning Scripture reading: Isaiah 43:18-19 Worship song: No Looking Back   Meditation:      A vehicle can become stuck in reverse due to a malfunctioning shift cable, internal wear, or a faulty transmission cable that hinders forward movement. Similarly, an individual may become trapped in dwelling on past seasons rather than progressing forward, which represents a personal setback characterized by an obsession with "the good old days" or regret over previous mistakes. Good morning Scripture reading: Exodus 14:15-16 Worship song: The End Meditation:      The Israelites were stricken by fear and extreme panic as they realized the Red Sea had blocked their path, preventing their progress. Fearing Pharaoh's advancing army, they implored Moses for help, and he prayed to God for deliverance. At God's command to move forward in faith, Moses stretched out his hand toward the ocean and watched in awe as the waves parted to create a path for the Israelites.       Moving forward in faith allowed God to act, showing His great power to protect and deliver His people. Good morning Scripture reading: Acts 18: 22-28 Hymn: The Comforter Has Come   Meditation:      Apollos was an evangelist and an eloquent speaker, fervent in spirit, who spoke highly of the Lord. He taught boldly in the synagogue at Ephesus about the baptism of John. However, at that time, Apollos was not acquainted with the teachings of Jesus Christ. When Aquila and Priscilla heard his teaching, they took him and clearly explained to him the way of the Lord.
