Experience God in Your Brokenness
Good morning
Scripture reading: Genesis 21:9-20
Worship song: Carry Me
Meditation:
Rejected and left alone in the wilderness, Hagar encountered a messenger of God who comforted her by assuring her Ishmael would become the father of a mighty nation. Her experience proves that God cares for the broken and abandoned, bringing them hope and restoration through his grace. God specializes in mending what is broken. He takes our ashes and transforms them into beauty, offering comfort in our darkest moments. He does not abandon broken people; He draws closer when we reach our breaking point, offering comfort, hope, and assurance.
He tenderly heals shattered hearts and binds up every wound providing emotional, physical, and spiritual renewal. We have the assurance that God watched over the desolate and saved those with a contrite and humble spirit. He gives power to the faint, and increases the strength of the weak. If you feel abandoned, and if your heart has been broken, don't lose hope; God's grace is sufficient to sustain you and His strength is perfected in weakness. In case you have turned away from him, God's covenant promise is unbroken; He assured us He will marry the backsliders, offering a warm welcome and complete restoration to those who return to him.
Loving Father, I thank you wholeheartedly for your divine
strength that perfected our weaknesses. I am truly grateful to you, O God for
your uncommon favor of blessings, restoration, and healing of brokenness.
Father, we surrender our hurts, pain, and limitations to you, trusting you to
comfort and sustain us by your grace. Almighty God, we build our faith on your
promises and the testimonies of your faithfulness to the broken, confident that
you will care for and watch over us. Father God, we surrender our backslidden
hearts to you, confident that your grace is sufficient to heal, renew, and
restore wholeness. We solely thank you, Lord God, for your unwavering
compassion, grace, strength, and unlimited mercy through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful day. ✌💕
