A Father's Love

Happy Father’s Day

Good morning

 Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:11-32

Song: How Deep The Father’s Love For Us

Meditation:

The compelling narrative in St. Luke 15 highlights the unconditional love and sincere compassion of a father for his children. The younger son's disrespectful request for his inheritance and his reckless lifestyle choices made his father's arms open wide to receive him. His father taught him moral principles, but all that he had learned was overshadowed by the extravagant lifestyle he adopted in the foreign country. Destitute, empty, and broken, he returned to his father, who was waiting in anticipation for his return. The father, overwhelmed with joy, forgave and welcomed his son home.

This story exemplifies God's unconditional love for us. God's love extends to all whether you are a backslider, sinner, atheist, believer, or unbeliever. He loves sincerely though he despises the actions that displease him. Jesus is patiently waiting for you to come home. There is an urgent call for all sinners, backsliders, the weary, and the sojourners to come unto him, and he will give you rest. The Savior bids us to come to the Father, whose arms are open to receive us.

Let us pray.

Everlasting Father, clothed in splendor and majesty, we are grateful to you, God, for your unconditional love, your abundant grace, compassion, and mercies that are new every morning. This morning, Lord, we express gratitude for the fathers who play a vital role in the lives of their children, ensuring the word of God is cemented in their hearts. We honor our fathers for their nurturing care and spiritual guidance. We thank you, Lord God, for equipping our fathers with virtues essential for endurance, patience, love, compassion, and tolerance. We pray for blood coverage, divine protection, financial breakthroughs, spiritual guidance, and divine intervention for all fathers, especially the genuine, supportive ones. Heavenly Father, please ignite a spiritual awakening in the hearts of fathers everywhere to bring them closer to You. Let Your truth deeply move those who have fallen away, those who doubt, and those who do not believe, guiding them back to a place of repentance. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and King. Amen.

Have a blessed and peaceful day. 👏💕🙏
