Divine Action
Good morning
Scripture reading: Genesis 7
Worship
song: Noah's Ark
Meditation:
Acting on God's instruction, Noah built an ark to serve as a single structure providing safety from the devastation of the flood. God spared not the whole world, but saved Noah, an obedient servant of God and a preacher of righteousness. Once Noah, his family, and all the animals were safely inside, God Himself shut the Ark’s only door, sealing them in. The single door to the ark signifies that there is only one way to salvation which is Jesus Christ.
Just as the Ark served as the sole, divine refuge from the floodwaters, Christ is the only safe haven from divine judgment. By choosing Jesus, the door, we are guaranteed eternal life. There are no other alternative ways, religions, or personal efforts to achieve safety from judgment except through Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. He is the sole path to salvation and the source of eternal life.
The fundamental truth is
that, despite Noah's preaching, people were unconcerned about God's judgment.
In Matthew 24, Jesus compares the events of the days of Noah to describe a
future state of spiritual blindness, where many people will be unprepared for
His sudden return. Live in constant readiness because the moment of judgment is
unexpected.
Let us pray:
Heavenly
Father, I acknowledge that true salvation is found solely in total surrender to
Your will. I recognize that You alone are the way to salvation, and I place my
full trust in Your guidance. I submit myself completely to You, Lord God,
knowing there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Thank
you, Almighty God, for providing the gateway to eternal life through the
sacrificial love and resurrection of your Son, Jesus. O Lamb of God, keep me
close to the cross, and empower me with your strength so that I may not stray.
In this era of ungodliness where worldly idols have become the norm, and the
gospel is ignored, bind my wandering heart to your truth and keep my eyes fixed
on your glory through the power of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you
a wonderful day. 👏💕🙏
