Deceptive Conduct

Good morning

Scripture reading: Proverbs 12:22

Worship song: The Truth

Meditation:

Writing imaginative essays requires using rich sensory details, captivating characters, and reflective narratives to forge a deep, resounding connection with the reader. Today, similar persuasion-oriented techniques are frequently weaponized in modern communication, digital marketing, social media platforms, and AI-generated content to intentionally deceive the public by spreading false information. False advertising is a modern form of bearing false witness and theft by using deliberate deception to extract money from individuals.

The Bible contains strong warnings against deception, emphasizing that truth and honesty are central to a righteous life.  Proverbs 12:22 warns us that lying lips are an abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight. Leviticus 19:11 says You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, or lie one to another. And Colossians 3:9 cautions against lying to one another. Also, Proverbs 14:5, says "A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies."

Believers are called to be vigilant, guard their hearts, evaluate spiritual teachings, reject deceitful ideas, and maintain integrity by not misleading others.

Let us pray:

Everlasting Father, I humbly come to You as the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I ask that You guard our hearts and protect our minds from those whose intention is to manipulate and deceive us. Lord, open our spiritual eyes to see through manipulation, hidden motives, and falsehoods. Give us, O God, the wisdom to discern Your voice from the noise of the world. Grant us divine insight to test the spirits to see whether they are from You, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Anchor us, Almighty God, firmly in Your Word so that we are not led astray by circumstances or deceitful influences. We surrender our thoughts, words, and decisions to You, Lord, and choose to walk in Your light and freedom. In Jesus' name, Amen

Wishing you a peaceful day. 👏💓🙏

  1. Deception is the devil best method against those who love the Lord, whose character, integrity stands out. He will spare no effort to dirty up, tear down and marred an individual who stand up for morality. Vigilance is the password for those who choose right over wrong. Let us partner with God for holiness. 🙏🙏

  2. Your mouth can block your blessings. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that " death and life are in the power of the tongue. Know when to keep quiet. Blessed morning. Heavenly Father, I come to You today acknowledging the power of my words. Your Word says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Lord, I repent for the times I have allowed my mouth to block my own blessings through complaining, gossip, idle chatter, or speaking defeat over my life. Give me wisdom to know when to speak and when it is better to remain silent. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be always acceptable in Your sight, Lord. Amen. Stay blessed. 🙌🏾
