Wash And Be Clean
Good Morning
Scripture reading: 1 John 1:5-10
Worship song: Redeemed
Meditation:
For several weeks I waited to see who would willingly clean
the fan in the office, but when no one volunteered, I took on the task. The color
of the fan was hidden under the dust and dirt that accumulated on the surface.
By using water, bleach, and soap, the fan once again looked brand new. As my
mind drifted back to the condition the fan was in, I thought about the debris
of sins that had accumulated within our hearts. Stop for a moment and think
about how dirty and murky you have become because of the sins that you continue
to commit. Think about how unclean you are with all the unconfessed sins that
accumulated over the years. We have all sinned against our Heavenly Father and
have done what is evil in his sight. None of us can truly say we have no sin,
for we are all sinners saved by grace. When we come in contact with Jesus
Christ, He will wash all scarlet sins away and make them as white as snow. Be
washed in the blood of the Lamb, and you shall be clean. Your sins will be
forgiven and forgotten, and you will be made whole. When we seek the Lord with
all our hearts, he will subdue our iniquities and cast all our sins in the
depths of the sea. When we surrender all to Jesus Christ, old things are passed
away and all things will become new.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, there is none as great as you, O God. Limitless God, holy and righteous are you, O God. Father, you are all that matters, so God, I place you above all else and ask that you fill every empty, void place in my life, O God. Almighty God, I beseech you to wash us thoroughly from all our iniquities and cleanse us from our sins. Lord God of mercy, we acknowledge that we have sinned against thee by committing evil in your sight. Almighty God, forgive us of our transgressions and our sins, which are ever before us. Father, wash us in the blood of the lamb, purge us with hyssop, and we shall be clean. Cleanse us from all impurities and create within us a clean heart, O God. Restore unto us, O God, the joy of thy salvation. Eternal Father, now that we are washed clean, pour pure fresh wine into our clean vessels, O God, and anoint us afresh. Please accept our sacrificial offering, O God, as we worship you in spirit and in truth through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Have a wonderful day. Keep safe. 💓
I want to be wash in the blood of the Lamb.
