Cause For Concern

Meditation:

    There are various things taking place in society nowadays that are cause for concern. People are busy altering God's creation to satisfy their egos. We have seen the rapid change in events and the behavioral patterns of people that leave us astonished yet aware that these things must come to pass. Men are leaving the natural use of women, burned in their lust, men with men working that which is unseemly and the women doing likewise. More and more, there is evidence that people are enticed and blinded by worldly pleasures. They have become so consumed by unrighteousness, immoralities, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, hatred, and deceit that they do not realize they are governed by their reprobate mind. Idol worshipping and self-satisfaction have caused many to drift away from the commandments of God. They have become haters of God, unmerciful, despiteful, proud boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, covenant breakers, without natural affection. There is an alarming rate of false prophets that have risen, deceiving the vulnerable and leading them down the wrong path. Listen and observe what is taking place; there are wars and rumors of war, nations are rising against nations, famine, pestilence, earthquakes, and disasters are affecting many countries. Children are against parents, and parents are against children. The scheme of the enemy to destroy families is increasing rapidly, and many are running to and fro, seeking happiness and contentment. When these things begin to come to pass, look up and lift your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh. Watch, therefore, and always pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man.

Let's pray:

    Righteous Judge, ruler of heaven and earth, I am grateful that your spoken word has declared what is expected in the latter days. Almighty God, we have seen the signs of the time and are witnesses to what is unfolding in society today. Lord, we recognize these things as a declaration of what will happen before the second coming of the Lord. Almighty God, we pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit upon those who are wavering their mind, that you will touch their hearts and renew their minds, bring them to their knees, O God, and draw them near to thee. Lord, I look to you with great expectation, believing and trusting you to keep us anchored in you and your words. I call upon you, Lord, to extend mercy to the weak, the vulnerable, and those who are deceived by the plot of the enemy. I pray, Mighty God, that you will remove the veil from their eyes, pierce their hearts, and allow the Holy Spirit to convict and change their mindset through Jesus Christ. Amen.
