Scripture: St. Luke 10:25-37

Meditation:   

 There are many priests and Levites among us, but we also have some good Samaritans. We all deal with our own issues that can leave us feeling downcast at times, and it is tempting to look the other way when we see someone else who is hurting. It might be tempting to walk on the other side and keep going, but we cannot say we love God if we refuse or fail to render assistance or show mercy to those in need. If we say we love God and hate or disregard the needs of our brothers and sisters, we are perceived as liars. We cannot say we love God whom we cannot see and hate or mistreat those we encounter. The love we display towards others reveals our love for God. Jesus says, anything you do for the least of my people, who have done it unto me. Our love for God and man is best expressed in showing mercy to people in need. Take time to show you care. 

Let us pray: 

    Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be your name, O God. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, O God. Father, as you show mercy towards us, may we render mercy, show kindness to others, express the love of Christ, and be compassionate to those around us. Please, Lord, remove our stony hearts and give us a heart like yours—a heart that is pure, merciful, and compassionate so we can treat others the same way we would like to be treated. Father God, bind the strongman spirit of envy, bitterness, hatred, and callousness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let not the works of the flesh reside in our hearts, O God. Fill us, mighty God, with the spirit of kindness, love, and compassion in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    When the love of the Lord dwell in us richly no sooner thereafter it is displayed in our words, deeds and actions. Regardless of persons or circumstances it is demonstrated unconditionally. The word reminds us love not in words but in deeds. May we reach that heights in our living that we not only talk the talk but walk the walk. Let us continue to show forth the love of God. 🙏 🙏

Routine Worship

Good morning Scripture reading: St Luke 4:16 Worship song: The Heart of Worship   Meditation:      It is customary for believers in Christ to gather in synagogues and places of worship at least once weekly to fellowship, praise, and honor God, our Creator. Your desire to know more about Jesus Christ should be your priority over earthly pursuits. The ultimate aspiration of every believer is to deepen their relationship with Christ and follow the pathway of righteousness.
