How Deep His Your Love

Good morning

Scripture reading: Matthew 22:37-39

Worship song: I'm Amazed

Meditation:

Love is a very essential human need, as it is the driving force behind compassion, kindness, and empathy. Love, according to the dictionary, is a strong feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection for someone. Jesus Christ demonstrated his love for us by showing kindness, mercy, and compassion to not only some but all creatures. He loves us despite our sinful nature, but he does not endorse our sins. His love for us is greater than our sins. God expects all his disciples to have the same kind of agape love he demonstrated. No wonder Jesus Christ told his disciples to love each other just as he loved us. The love of Jesus Christ does not come with conditions or limitations. It is a love that is generous and endures all things.

As children of God, faith, hope, and love are the three essential Christian virtues that guide our interaction and actions with others, but the greatest one is love (1 Cor. 13:13). Love rejoices not in iniquity, does not think about evil, and does not envy; it endures all things, rejoices in the truth, and covers a multitude of sins. Love does not select whom to love and whom to despise. If you do not have the love of Christ, who bore chastisement for our redemption, then your love is not authentic. How we demonstrate love will determine whose disciples we are. How deep is your love for Almighty God and your neighbor?

Let us pray:

Almighty God, I glorify and honor you for your unmerited and unconditional love for humanity. Lord, I beseech you to examine our hearts and test our love; see if we have agape love or if our love is motivated by our own needs. Father may Your agape love engulf our hearts so we can love others without favor or condition. Lord God, crucify our selfish desires; grant us a receptive heart and let our lives reflect the Christ that lives within us. Loving Father may the warmth of your grace and mercy inspire us to follow your commands, precepts, and life teachings through the love of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a lovely day. 💕💘🙏

  1. Oh what a love, so measureless and strong. It is such a binding force. It kept lovers together for years. It keeps believers faithful to the Lord, it forgives all our trespasses.
It is our source of supply both physically and spiritually. It never runs out.
Love in any language, straight from the heart, pulls us all together, never apart.
    How deep is your love?
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
