Life's Blueprint

Good morning

Scripture reading: 1 Chronicles 28:10-19

Worship song: Up on This Rock

Meditation:

A blueprint, also known as a building plan and construction plan, is a design with detailed drawings created and used by engineers, construction workers, and architects to illustrate project plans and build new infrastructure. David handed his son Solomon a blueprint of the Temple of the Lord and also gave him the materials needed to build it. In the context of life, we are not handed a drafted blueprint detailing our lifespan, nor are we given a draft of our successes and failures or what will happen each day. Neither are we given a blueprint detailing every aspect of our life. What we have access to is the Bible to help us navigate life's journey.

The Bible is a lamp to guide our feet and a light to show us the path. The Bible is the guidebook, a blueprint that provides guidance and advice for family life, relationships, spiritual leaders, and the workplace, and offers advice on how to live a life that pleases God (Ephesians 6:1-9, 1 Tim. 3:1-13, 1 Thess. 4:1-7, Col. 1:19-12). Most of all, it reveals God's plan of salvation, the sin that separates us from God, the punishment for our sinful nature, and the solution from sin to redemption. (St. John 3:16, Romans. 6:23, Acts 4:12, 2 Thess. 1:7-9.) It also teaches us about faith, love, hope, compassion, and faithfulness to God (1 Cor. 13). Many of us create a blueprint of what we want to achieve, but oftentimes what we desire and the things we want are never accomplished due to various reasons beyond our control. Any foundation that is not built upon Jesus Christ cannot stand. For no other foundation can a man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Let us pray:

My Heavenly Father, matchless in power, merciful, and compassionate, I am grateful for your detailed blueprint, the Bible, which is our guidebook to live a life pleasing to You. Father, I am grateful that we do not lack the resources we need to inspire, guide, teach, and lead us. We are grateful, O God, for your word, which is a lamp to guide our feet and a light to show us the path. Lord, we express sincere gratitude to you for the obedience of the holy men who spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost so we can have access to the scriptures for our daily benefit. We give thanks, O God, for the inspired word of God that guides us in the way of truth and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in holiness and righteousness. Lord, we are grateful to you for the dispensation of your grace and mercies that you bestowed upon us as we built our foundation on the solid rock, Jesus Christ. Amen. (Child of the King).

Have a peaceful day. ✌👏

  1. With a blueprint one can build right and strong. Without the guide of the Holy Spirit what a disaster one would be. God must be first in everything we do or else one sets themselves up for failure. God can fix everything that goes wrong but we must put Him first so one can be on the right path. Let us let go and let God. Stay blessed.
