Patience is a Virtue

Good Morning

Scripture reading: 1 Timothy 1:1-17

Mediation song:  Be Still My Soul

Meditation:

Patience is a powerful quality that allows us to maintain self-control while we wait for what we need or desire. It empowers us to persistently pursue our long-term goals, even when faced with challenges. While patience may not come easily, especially during difficult moments, it is a crucial skill that enables us to endure annoyance, sickness, pain, provocation, and financial hardship without succumbing to frustration and irritability. Patience helps preserve our relationships with loved ones. One of the benefits of being a child of God is to adopt a lifestyle of patience.

If we take a moment to reflect, we will truly realize and appreciate the extraordinary patience that God has shown us throughout our lives, guiding us and waiting patiently for us to embrace his love. God's patience is limitless. He guides us through our mistakes and patiently waits for our transformation. He tells us in his word that He is slow to anger, which reflects a testament to his boundless patience. We cannot wear God out. Not all the people around you will put up with your mess and wait for you to change, but God will.

Let us pray:

Holy, Righteous, and Loving God of the Universe, we thank you for your limitless patience. Help us, O God, to appreciate your suffering and the immense patience you portrayed for our transformation. Lord, grant us the strength to be patient in our struggles and enough strength to be patient with others as they navigate their own struggles. Father, instill in us the spirit of endurance so we can run with patience while awaiting your divine intervention in our lives. Deepen our understanding of life's difficult times and strengthen our trust in you as we face trials. Teach us, Almighty God, to embrace patience and acknowledge that you are diligently working your purpose out within us through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a blessed and peaceful day. ✌💖🙏

  1. Teach me Lord how to wait. I often thought I have patience until I have to wait on the Lord. It is a Havard institution of learning. Job went there. Before his graduation he declared. Of all my appointed times I will wait until my change come.
We will learn from Job experience while we encounter I our. Let us go through life's lessons learning. God bless you for always sharing.
