Week of prayer - Day 5

And if it seems evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15

Let us pray:

    Elohim, my deliverer, my strong tower, the God of mercy and grace, you deserve the glory, honor, and praise, for you are worthy, O God. Heavenly Father, as I enter your throne room of grace, purify me, O God, from all infirmities; cleanse and wash me of carnal weaknesses. Lord, as I bow at the altar of petition on behalf of the well-being of families and children, use me as your oracle, O God. Father, the enemy has launched an attack against family and children. There is cruelty in the heartless, and the wicked devices of their evil plot are aimed at dismantling unity, disrupting the lives of the vulnerable, and destroying families, but I pray, O God, that divine favor and mercy be extended unto us. Break every stronghold and destroy the scheme and plot of the evil one. 

    Father, intervene and intercept the plan of the adversary and blind the eyes of every demonic force that is assigned to watch us. Put a stop order on the enemy's plans and defeat his purpose for the sake of the innocent. Abba Father, I declare blood coverage upon our children and families; seal them with your blood, Daddy Jesus; and protect them from the wolves in sheep's clothing. Almighty God, we were taught that a family that prays together stays together, and so God, I pray that the family altars will once again be erected in the homes. Father, so many families are struggling to stay connected, but I pray, O God, that the fire of the Holy Ghost will once again be kindled and ignite our souls. Where there are Baal altars erected, where foreign gods are residing, let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume them, mighty God. Pull them from the pit that has been dug by their enemy, mighty God, and write your story across their hearts. 

    Lord God, in our struggles and pursuits, though burdened by life's challenges, may we find joy, peace, and contentment. Pronounce your blessing upon every family struggling financially, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally, Lord God, strengthen weak faith, and cause the spirit of hope to override hopelessness. Heavenly Father, I declare unity, prosperity, joy, love, peace, breakthrough, and deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ for every family in need. Father, we realize that only in you are we secure, so we run to you, O God; shelter and keep us safe under your wings, O God, through Jesus Christ, my Savior. Amen.
