The Bread That Sustains

Meditation:

    The bread that Jesus offers us cannot be purchased with money, nor is it found in a bakery. No earthly ingredients combined together can make this bread. This bread symbolizes Jesus Christ himself. Speaking to the multitude and his disciples, Jesus boldly identifies himself as the bread of life. He said, I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 

    Jesus is the bread of life that sustains and nourishes us spiritually. Jesus promised that those who come to him, their spiritual hunger will be satisfied, and their thirsty soul will be quenched. Incline your ear and come unto me, says the Lord; hear, and your soul shall live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you and show you mercy. Let us labor not for the bread which perished, but for that bread which endured unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man shall give unto us.

Let us pray:

    Dear Heavenly Father, I give thee thanks, O God, for this opportunity to examine my life and humble myself before you. Bread of Heaven sent down from glory, my soul hunger and thirst for you, Lord God, in this dry and barren land. I have a desire and a determination to be filled from the fountain that shall never run dry. To whom shall I go, Lord? You have the words of eternal life. Lord, you are the only source that can satisfy me completely and fill the emptiness within me. Only you, O God, can satisfy the deepest desires of my soul. Earnestly, I seek you, Lord, with a desire to know you more. I need more of you, Lord, so I humbly beseech you to break every limitation and draw me closer to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    Our source of survival.
    When someone is the source, we go to the source for whatever we need.
    During times of drought there is always a last source of water for the animals and human. Some animals die before they could reach the water because they had gone too long without and strength leave them. We must stay by our source to be supplied. Have a wonderful and bless day.🙏🔥🙏

Good morning Scripture reading: St Luke 4:16 Worship song: The Heart of Worship   Meditation:      It is customary for believers in Christ to gather in synagogues and places of worship at least once weekly to fellowship, praise, and honor God, our Creator. Your desire to know more about Jesus Christ should be your priority over earthly pursuits.
