Beware of The Enchanters

Meditation:

    Nebuchadnezzar lived his life trusting, listening, and accepting the advice of the enchanters, the wise men, but never thought the day would come when they would fail him. He trusted and put his faith in unreliable sources—those who used different methods of divination to perform their enchantments. His request, however, would not be interpreted by unfamiliar spirits because only Almighty God has the answer. 

    In Nebuchadnezzar's quest to seek answers, God anointed and equipped Daniel with the interpretation that only God could provide. People are fascinated by the performances of magicians, the practices of enchanters, and sorcerers, but the word of God declares in Deuteronomy 18 that those who practice these things are an abomination to him. If they do not repent of their folly, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone (Rev. 21:8). 

    There shall not be found among you anyone that maketh his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or that used divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer (Deut. 18:10-13).

Let us pray:

    Merciful, wonderful Saviour, precious redeemer, and friend rescue us, O God, from unfamiliar spirits and keep our minds focused on you, O Lord. Almighty God, give us the spirit of discernment to recognize those with an unfamiliar spirit and those who are performing rituals contrary to your will. Almighty God, I pray our focus will remain solely on you and that you will protect us from those who use different methods of divination. Father God, king of all kings and Lord of the universe, we seek you only for spiritual help, interpretation, and guidance. Almighty God, Father of grace and mercies, keep us away from the enchanters and from sources that are rejected by you, Lord. Father, I pray we will never place our trust and faith in unreliable sources, but in you and you alone, O God. Almighty God, I believe you hold the answers to all life's questions, and so, God, I look to no other source but you, O God. Almighty God, I depend on you to guide, keep, protect, and deliver us from all evil in the name of Jesus Christ, our Mediator. Amen.

The Death of The Wicked

Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 33: 1-20 Praise song: Only a Look   Meditation:      All of us have an appointment with death, which we cannot cancel, for all must die. Nevertheless, there is a difference between the death of the sinner and the death of the redeemed. When the redeemed die, they will one day be resurrected to eternal life, but the ungodly to eternal torment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Seeking The Lost at Any Cost

Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:1-7 Worship song: Ninety and Nine   Meditation:      After an extensive search for a misplaced document that held significant importance, I experienced an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety. Finally, I decided to discontinue the search and reluctantly accepted the possibility of its loss, though I remain hopeful. Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 12:1-2 Worship song: Change My Heart Oh God   Meditation:      It is important to realize that our minds can be profoundly influenced by the performance, attitude, moral standards, conduct, actions, and spoken words of others, whether negatively or positively. When we allow ourselves to be persuaded by flattery, praise, and compliments, we risk letting our lives be fashioned by others' opinions instead of our convictions.
