The Will of God

Good morning

 Scripture reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Worship song: Gratitude

Meditation:

The divine command by God is to give thanks not just for some things but for all things. We are called to express gratitude not just for abundant blessings but also for the hardships and challenges that shape us. The word of God asserts that in everything we must give thanks, for this is His will for us. Understanding God’s will empower us to appreciate and express gratitude no matter the trials we encounter.

Living with a grateful heart signifies our faith in God's goodness and sovereignty even amidst difficulties. Each act of gratitude reflects our appreciation for God's unwavering provision, mercy, grace, and sovereignty. We must find ways to express gratitude for even the smallest blessings and avoid murmuring and complaining.

In Romans 8:28, we are assured that all things, good and bad, work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose. Therefore, whether we encounter challenges or enjoy abundant blessings, regardless of the circumstance, let gratitude be our constant practice. Remember, it is God’s will that we give thanks in everything.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today with hearts full of gratitude. Thank you for touching our lives with your word. We come in agreement with the psalmist in Psalm 119:105 that your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Father, we are committed to living in alignment with your will as you have commanded us. Father, we recognize that expressing gratitude in times of grief and pain can be challenging, but we are solely dependent on you, Lord. We seek your divine intervention to navigate these moments. Remove the veil from our eyes so we can see clearly and trust that all things will indeed work together for our good. Help us, O God, to express gratitude and appreciation for not only the abundant blessings but even the small, seemingly insignificant ones, all in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a blessed day. 💕🙏
