The Thin Line Between Sin and Holiness

Meditation:

    The picture painted by some gospel ministers depicts a life of liberation, free from the world's troubles, a life free from problems and challenges. However, most fail to inform us that once we turn our backs on the things of the world, we become Satan's target. Once you accept Jesus Christ, your woes began, and your struggles will intensify as the cohorts of darkness work tirelessly to defeat your purpose. 

    Once you are converted and change from your old sinful way, Satan assigns his best agents to derail you. The enemy will stop at nothing to cause you to falter and return to your ungodly behavior. He will try desperately to entice you with the things you once enjoyed. Every day is a constant battle between the works of the flesh (desire for things contrary to biblical principles) and the spiritual aspect of our lives. 

    We wrestle against the rulers of darkness, against principalities, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. This is why we need the whole armor of God to withstand the wiles of the devil. We cannot defeat the enemy's attacks without Jesus. The road to salvation is paved with many challenges, struggles, trials, and tribulations, but our journey will be worth it. There is life Everlasting a reward for the faithful believers in Christ Jesus. No matter what you are going through, stand firm, and rest assured you are not alone. Many are the tribulations of the righteous but be of good cheer; the Lord will deliver us out of them all. We are overcomers through Christ, who overcomes the world.

Let’s pray:

    Everlasting Father, I worship and adore you, for you deserve glory and honor. Faithful, promise-keeping God, I am grateful that you are always with us, keeping us safe from the onslaught of the evil one. Jehovah God, I beseech you to strengthen us during our weak moments when the devil intensifies the heat of tribulation. Lord, whenever we encounter difficult moments when faced with challenges that threaten our ability to remain fervent, stand by us and strengthen us. 

    Almighty God, when wrestling with the rulers of darkness, please protect and guard us. Father, we call upon the Holy Spirit to empower us when challenged by the enemy and wrestling with the desires of the flesh. Help us, Lord God, to resist sinful desires and embrace spiritual guidance. Almighty God, help us overcome trials and temptations. Grant us victory over tribulations and fleshly desires in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Death of The Wicked

Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 33: 1-20 Praise song: Only a Look   Meditation:      All of us have an appointment with death, which we cannot cancel, for all must die. Nevertheless, there is a difference between the death of the sinner and the death of the redeemed. When the redeemed die, they will one day be resurrected to eternal life, but the ungodly to eternal torment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:1-7 Worship song: Ninety and Nine   Meditation:      After an extensive search for a misplaced document that held significant importance, I experienced an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety. Finally, I decided to discontinue the search and reluctantly accepted the possibility of its loss, though I remain hopeful. Reflecting on this experience, I imagine the Lord's feelings when the ones he loved turn away from him and refuse to surrender. Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 12:1-2 Worship song: Change My Heart Oh God   Meditation:      It is important to realize that our minds can be profoundly influenced by the performance, attitude, moral standards, conduct, actions, and spoken words of others, whether negatively or positively. When we allow ourselves to be persuaded by flattery, praise, and compliments, we risk letting our lives be fashioned by others' opinions instead of our convictions. We must remember that Satan is a master of manipulation, seeking to invade and control our thoughts to influence our actions.
