You Are Not Forgotten

Good Morning

Scripture reading: Isaiah 49:14-16

Worship song: I Am Not Forgotten

Meditation:

In times of hardship, struggles, and seemingly undeserved punishment, it is natural to wrestle with feelings of abandonment. The Israelites expressed this deep concern of neglect, believing their cries were disregarded by God. They felt utterly cast aside and assumed God's silence meant his anger was directed at them. Despite their cries for help, God did not immediately respond. In agony, they waited in anguish, bewailing their relentless situation, expecting swift rescue. Yet, God powerfully reassures them by informing them he has engraved them on the palms of his hands. He compared his unwavering love to a mother's love for her child, emphasizing that while human compassion may falter, His love is steadfast and eternal.

You may sometimes feel forgotten by God but rest assured God has not forgotten you. He knows exactly where and what you are going through right now. Amid challenges, do not be dismayed or terrified, for the Lord your God promises He will be with you. You will not face your adversary alone because the Lord promises not to leave or forsake you. He will deliver you from captivity and set you free. Wait patiently on God; He is an on-time God, and He will show up just in time. Be strong and courageous and keep waiting on God. Amid change and uncertainty, remember that whilst everything else may shift, the Lord remains the same.

Let us pray:

Almighty God, I am grateful for your word that strengthens my faith and reminds me that you will never abandon me. I am extremely grateful for the unwavering assurance that you are always with me. Thank you, Lord God, for your compassion, kindness, and faithfulness towards humanity. Almighty God, I relinquish all control, and I place my life and well-being into your hands, acknowledging that you know what is best for me. Most of all, thank you, Lord, for your unconditional love, mercy, grace, and the faithful promises you have extended through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a wonderful day. 🙏🙏🙏

  1. Blessed morning. God is faithful. God will make a way. Where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we can not see. He will make a way for me. Heavenly Father, You are the Waymaker, and I ask for Your guidance and wisdom in finding a path forward. I know You will make a way where there seems to be none. Help me to trust in Your timing and plan. I give you my concerns and ask that You lead me to the right path. Amen. Stay Blessed. 🙌🏾
