Meditation:

    Patience is a powerful quality that empowers individuals to maintain self-control during periods of waiting. It enables us to persistently pursue our long-term goals, despite encountering various challenges. While cultivating patience may be difficult, it is an invaluable skill that can be developed over time. This virtue allows us to endure annoyance, illness, pain, provocation, and financial difficulties without succumbing to frustration and irritability. Those who persevere through challenges and trust in God's divine timing are better able to cope with life's struggles than someone who operates out of arrogance or anger. 

    As Ecclesiastes 7:8 reminds us, it is essential to nurture patience, rely on God's timing, and avoid the quicksand of pride. Upon reflection, we can appreciate the extraordinary patience that God has extended to us throughout our lives, as he guides us and awaits our acceptance of his love. God's patience knows no bounds; He leads us through our mistakes and remains steadfast while we undergo transformation. His word assures us that He is slow to anger, which reflects a testament to his infinite patience. 

    We can find comfort in knowing that God's patience is a profound manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit extended to all believers.

Let us pray:

    Holy, Righteous, and Loving God of the Universe, we express our gratitude for your boundless patience. Inspire us, O God, to recognize the profound sacrifice you have made, and the immense patience demonstrated in our transformation. Lord, grant us the strength to remain patient in our struggles and to extend patience to others as they battle their own struggles. Father, instill the spirit of endurance so we can run the race with patience while awaiting your divine direction. Deepen our understanding of life's difficult times and strengthen our trust in you as we face trials. Teach us, Almighty God, to embrace patience and acknowledge that everything is designed to work for our good, to prosper us, and not harm us. Father, grant us the gift of patience through Jesus Christ. Amen.

    The story is told of a man who prayed to God for patience but then said to God he want it right now. It is indeed a virtue. Let us wait patiently on the Lord. Shalom.

Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 8:31-39 Worship song: If God Is for Me   Meditation:      With God on your side, no enemy can truly triumph over you, even when it seems they are succeeding during persecution or tribulation. It may look like they are succeeding when they mock us or threaten us, but God's purpose and support for us are far greater than any force against us. Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Nonetheless, they regularly transgressed against the Lord and returned to idolatry, and for that, many of them did not reach the promised land. Like the Israelites, many of us, after encountering freedom, have returned to our former lifestyle, allowing our self-will and desires to cause us to be entangled again in the yoke of sin and transgressions.       Those who believe in Christ experience a spiritual rebirth, a transformation from their old lifestyle governed by sin to a new spiritual identity in Christ.
