Till My Change Comes

 Good morning

Scripture reading: Psalm 130

Worship song: I Will Wait for You

Meditation:

It is common for people to feel frustrated, discouraged, and even hopeless when waiting for a situation to change and nothing seems to be happening. While not everyone possesses the patience to wait faithfully on God, those who do find contentment in placing their trust completely in Him. Our expectations are anchored in God, the ultimate source of hope and peace. 'I will wait until my change comes' is not just a phrase; it is a powerful declaration of unwavering trust and courage, believing God is working out his perfect plan to prosper us. Waiting patiently demonstrates our complete dependence on God for strength, wisdom, and direction, not relying on our own abilities or understanding.

It reflects a deep spiritual journey of faith, patience, reliance, and trusting in God's timing and plan, even when things are difficult. We wait upon God, our ultimate source of hope and peace, to renew our strength so we can rise above challenges and stand resolute amidst discouragement and tribulations. To wait on God means we acknowledge His sovereignty and authoritative power. Let us firmly embrace the message of the Psalmist and the singer, declaring that we will wait for the Lord through the storm and dark night. Let us trust God's promise to strengthen our hearts as we wait on Him. We know not what the future holds, but we will wait on the Lord.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, we thank you for the gift of unwavering patience and endurance as we wait on. Amidst challenges and difficult situations, we confidently commit to waiting patiently on you, O God, until our change comes. Though life's struggles may seem overwhelming and unchangeable, we will remain steadfast, trusting your promise to deliver us from all our troubles. We are determined to wait patiently, knowing that our souls will be satisfied. Lord, quiet the thoughts that challenge your word and help us be still, acknowledging that you are still in control. Father, we are mindful of your faithfulness and recognize your power to heal, deliver, and transform our situations. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we declare to remain fervent in spirit, trusting you to deliver us out of all our troubles. Amen.

Have a blessed day. 👏🙏💕

  1. Things will never be the same always. There are times for everything. The seasons of our lives are so like the seasons of fruits. They bear and rest and get ready for bearing again. As we wait for the blossoms of our lives, the fruits will emerge in due time. Let everything run it's course until God says when. Shalom.
