The King That Purifies

Good morning

 Scripture Reading: Esther 2

Worship song: Refiner's Fire

Meditation:

Esther cleanses herself before meeting King Ahasuerus, but our King, Jesus Christ purifies us to meet Him. Esther was subjected to twelve (12) months of purification using oil and incense before she was brought before King Ahasuerus. Still, only the efficacious blood of Jesus Christ purifies us and brings us into the presence of the King of all kings. Seven maids help Esther to get purified to meet King Ahasuerus, but God is the only one who thoroughly purifies us of all our sins and unrighteousness.

Ahasuerus delights in physical cleansing, but God takes pleasure in spiritual purification. Esther's beauty pleased the king, but our desire to live a holy and righteous life delights our Heavenly King. Esther could only go to her king when he summoned her, but there is no time slot, appointment required, limitation, boundary, or distance that will hinder us or prevent us from going before our King. Of all the women who purified themselves to meet the king, only Esther obtained grace and favor, but all those who seek to walk according to God's precepts and commands will receive his grace, mercy, and favor. Esther was a replacement, but we are all deemed worthy and accepted through the blood of Jesus Christ. When the heart grieves over what it has lost, the spirit rejoices over what it has found.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, as I bow before you, I beseech you to empty us of all impurities, from presumptuous sin and carnal weaknesses. Cleanse us from deep within and blot out all our transgressions. Almighty God, only you are worthy and capable of purifying and sanctifying us, only you, O God, can cleanse us of all impurities and iniquities, and so Father, I beseech you to plunge us beneath the fountain of your blood. Wash us thoroughly with hyssop, mighty God until our hearts are completely purged. Lord, we present our case before you and boldly ask you to forgive us for trespassing against you as we forgive those who trespass against us. Almighty God, purify our hearts, set us apart for your purpose, and allow your light to shine within us and radiate outward so that others may see the Christ in us. Father, we need you more than anything this world has to propose to offer, so Lord, do what you propose to do in us through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.

Wishing you a day of abundant blessings. 💘🙏

  1. Sin has been the obstacle of every child of God, young or old and must be dealt with as early as it is discovered less like cancer it reaches its deadly stage. Let us help one another so no one dies in sin. Take care. Let's march forward for God in His holiness. Shalom.
