A Call To Repentance

Good morning

Scripture reading: Acts 3:19

Worship song: I Repent

Meditation:

God's covenants promise to forgive, restore, and heal is activated when His people, who are called by His name, respond to His call for humility, prayer, seeking His face, and turning away from wickedness, offering hope through sincere repentance. Repentance is turning from sin to God, marked by confession, regret, and a deep commitment to change our ungodly ways and unforgiving hearts. Repentance opens the way for God to forgive sins and cleanse the heart.

Godly sorrow produces a lasting change for the better, a life lived in greater alignment with divine principles. He that covers his sins shall not prosper but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Except we repent, we shall all likewise perish. Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Let us pray:

Almighty God, we embrace this opportunity to examine our ways, confess and repent of all our ungodly ways, and surrender to your will. Lord, we repent of backbiting, spiritual laziness, lukewarmness, pride, greed, evil deeds, unforgiveness, selfishness, envy, and strive. We repent, O Lord, for disregarding your principles, diluting the gospel to suit our ungodly lifestyles, and leading your children astray. Forgive us, Heavenly Father, for we have sinned against you blatantly and unknowingly. We repent, O God, for the lies we have practiced, acknowledging that lying is an abomination to you. We repent of the many times we failed to obey your prophetic word and the prompting of the Holy Spirit. Almighty God, we sincerely repent of everything that displeased you and ask for complete cleansing and purification of our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. Mold us into vessels of honor, order our steps, be our guide, and our anchor from now and forever in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

Wishing you a blessed day. 👏💕🙏
