Strong Family, Strong Communities.
Good morning
Scripture reading: Ephesians 6:1-4
Worship song: Firm Foundation
Meditation:
God's original design for humanity and life centers on the family. God made a covenant with Abraham, promising to build a mighty nation from him, shower him with blessings, and make him a blessing to the entire world. The family unit serves as the essential cornerstone where fundamental values are instilled, offering the crucial stability necessary for the thriving of communities, societies, and nations.
Within this primary unit, moral,
spiritual, and social values are initially taught, forming the very foundation
upon which a nation is built. Families function as the first and most
significant agents for educating children about ethics, values, discipline, and
respect. They help a nation by raising future citizens, transmitting core
values like responsibility and empathy, providing essential emotional and
social support, and acting as the foundational unit for a stable society. A
nation of families guided by God's moral principles is genuinely blessed, for
they are the people the Lord has chosen as His own inheritance. Let us be like
Joshua and make serving Jehovah our family's priority.
Let us pray:
Eternal Father, into your hands we commit our families and
nation. We declare your glory among the heathen, your wonders among all people
for all the gods of the nations are idols. Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for
all the nations are your inheritance. We glorify you, O God, for your covenant
promise of healing and restoration if we, your people, humble ourselves, pray,
seek your face, and turn from evil. Almighty God, we humbly pray for your
divine protection and guidance over our family and nation. May they be shielded
by your grace and empowered to live lives that honor your moral principles and
align with your will. Lord, grant us faith that is fervently grounded in Christ
and governed by your virtues in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💗🙏
