Vested with the Authority

Good morning

Scripture reading: St. Luke 10:18-20

Worship song: Step On The Enemy

Meditation:

Jesus gave his disciples authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and to overcome the power of their enemies. The same power is also given to believers, and we have the right and are at liberty to exercise this authority over serpents and every enemy. Revelation 12 tells us that the serpent is Satan and his cohorts of darkness, working together to deceive the whole world. However, we have no reason to be dismayed or discouraged for God has given us the authority to defeat our enemies. God has given greater power to the seed of a woman. The seed of the woman is the children of God, those who believe and accept Jesus Christ, and the seed of the enemy is Satan and those working along with him to defeat believers.

Whenever the enemy strikes, remember that you are given authority and power to defeat his purpose. Remember that whatever you are wrestling against is not flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness in high places, the rulers of darkness in this world, principalities, and powers. All these are united together to destroy our faith and defeat our God-given purpose. Do not be petrified, for He who is with us is greater than those against us.

Let us pray:

Adonai, my God in whom I put my trust, I exalt you, Lord, for your matchless power and greatness. Almighty God, we are grateful to you, O God, for the privilege granted to us to trample on and crush serpents and scorpions and to triumph over our enemies. Father, now that we know the power that we have, we come boldly to the throne of grace as we seek to exercise our divine power through the authority granted to us by Almighty God. With the authority granted to us, we declare every serpent spirit crushed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We trample, crush, and paralyze every physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual serpent. Father, by the power and authority granted to us, we crush the serpent of lies, generational curse, sickness, fears, and deception, and we march on as victors over our adversaries through Jesus Christ, our redeemer. Amen.

Wishing you abundant blessings. Einéné ✌💕🙏
