Seen as Righteous
Good morning
Scripture Reading: Genesis 6:8-9
Worship Song: Lead Me
Meditation:
Warned by God of the coming flood, Noah responded with fear and reverence and immediately built the ark according to God's instructions. Although the people around him doubted and ridiculed him, his faithful obedience demonstrated that he was in right standing with God. God sent the floodwaters upon the ungodly, but spared Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness. When the ark was completed, God invited Noah and his family into the ark. The invitation to 'come inside' suggests that God was already there to welcome them into a place of safety and protection.
God has promised to provide
us with the same protection and refuge that He gave Noah. Jesus Christ is our
only means of rescue from spiritual death. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and
Savior and faithfully follow His teachings, we are marked with God's indelible
seal.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, our shelter in the times of storm, we
thank You for sending Jesus Christ the only eternal security for believers who
are in Christ, securely sealed, and upheld by His grace. We are grateful that
Jesus bore the penalty for human sin on the cross, shielding believers from
divine judgment. We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the way, the truth, and the
light, and affirm that no one can come to You, Almighty God, except through
Him. We thank You, Lord, for being the door to salvation and the Redeemer who
delivers us from the penalty of sin. We praise You because our righteousness
does not come from our own strength, but from Your perfect sacrifice. We
welcome Your presence and are grateful that Your Holy Spirit dwells within us,
directing and guiding us toward our eternal rest. We thank You wholeheartedly
in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful day.
If our works could save us, imagine how hard some people would work. It is not through our works that we are saved but because we are saved that our works after receiving salvation is accepted. Let us seek His righteousness that we will be accepted. 🙏🔥💪🙏
