Meditation:

The landscaper did a magnificent job with the beautification of the newly purchased premises. Within less than three hours, the property was transformed into a magnificent scenery. The property owner was impressed with the completion. Believers and landscapers have similar tasks. As believers, our responsibility is to confess our iniquities and seek divine intervention to eliminate the weeds (sin) in our lives that create blockages so our lives can shine with radiance, igniting souls to Christ. Indulging in and/or refusing to destroy the elements that cause us to sin will fester and create spiritual blockages. Sin without repentance will destroy our hearts, minds, and souls and drive us further away from God. Sin can restrain our spiritual growth, quench our worship, and disconnect us from Jesus Christ, the true vine. The only way to prevent sin from residing in us is to connect with the redeemer who forgives sins. The property owner calls the landscaper to destroy the weed because his garden needs pruning. We can call on our Heavenly Father when our hearts and minds need cleansing. If sin manifests itself in your mind and heart, call on the redeemer who will cleanse and purify you from all unrighteousness. Jesus Christ is always available to cleanse those who request cleansing. 

 

Let us pray:

Holy and righteous God, I seek your divine intervention in a matter that we cannot eradicate without your help. Abba, Father, at times we become so caught up in the act of sin that we fail to realise the impact it has on us. Mighty God, I ask you to prune our hearts and disconnect the unfruitful branches. Mighty God, remove every branch within us; that is not fruitful. O God, connect us to the true vine and let our lives be exemplary to those around us. Beautify and purify our gardens (heart), Mighty God, by the renewing of our minds. Create within us a clean heart, O God. Let your Holy Spirit work through us and eradicate and transform our lives in the beauty of holiness. Almighty God, we confess all our sins to thee and beseech you to blot out our transgressions. Father God, bring us to a place of reconciliation. Almighty God, we ask you to help us eradicate every uncontrollable dominating sin from our lives through Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Amen.

The Death of The Wicked

Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 33: 1-20 Praise song: Only a Look   Meditation:      All of us have an appointment with death, which we cannot cancel, for all must die. Nevertheless, there is a difference between the death of the sinner and the death of the redeemed. When the redeemed die, they will one day be resurrected to eternal life, but the ungodly to eternal torment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. While Jesus was speaking to his disciples, he cautioned them not to fear those who destroy the body, but rather to fear him who can destroy both soul and body.        Those who die in Christ should not fear death, for death is not their final destiny. Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:1-7 Worship song: Ninety and Nine   Meditation:      After an extensive search for a misplaced document that held significant importance, I experienced an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety. Finally, I decided to discontinue the search and reluctantly accepted the possibility of its loss, though I remain hopeful. Reflecting on this experience, I imagine the Lord's feelings when the ones he loved turn away from him and refuse to surrender. When we resist his call, we must remember we are precious and valuable in God's sight and his love is unconditional. Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 12:1-2 Worship song: Change My Heart Oh God   Meditation:      It is important to realize that our minds can be profoundly influenced by the performance, attitude, moral standards, conduct, actions, and spoken words of others, whether negatively or positively. When we allow ourselves to be persuaded by flattery, praise, and compliments, we risk letting our lives be fashioned by others' opinions instead of our convictions. We must remember that Satan is a master of manipulation, seeking to invade and control our thoughts to influence our actions.
