Created and Favored by God

Good morning

Scripture reading: Genesis 1:26-31

Worship song: Redeemer

Meditation:

Creation is not the work of random chance; God simply spoke the universe into existence. Everything was created by the master designer, purposefully and intentionally for his glory. When God created the heavens and the earth and everything therein, he knew the only thing that would complete his creation was man's existence. Therefore, he made man in his image and likeness. His first human masterpiece (Adam) was a sculpture formed from the dust of the earth. In His infinite wisdom, God formed and fashioned humans and gave them dominion and power over the earth and everything in it. God found great pleasure in all that He created, and when he looked at all that he had done, God beheld it and declared that it was very good. We are all products of God's handiwork, fearfully and wonderfully made, created to fulfill His purpose here on earth. Ever since God created the world, his invisible qualities, both his eternal power and his divine nature, have been seen and are perceived in the things that God has made.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, great are you, Lord, and greatly to be praised. Mighty God, there is none as great as you are. We are grateful to you, Almighty God, that from a place that was without form, void, and covered with darkness, You bring forth light and everything you desire into existence, especially mankind. Mighty God, we give thee thanks for creating us in your likeness. All power belongs to You, O God, for without You, nothing that is made would be in existence. Abba, Father, I am amazed by your creation, and I applaud you for such marvelous work. Almighty God, we give you thanks for your infinite wisdom, and we thank you for everything that you have made for mankind's benefit. Father, we adore you, and we give you the highest praise for all you have done, especially for making us in your image and likeness. Father, I pray that we will all show our gratitude to you by offering our lives as a living sacrifice. Father, may we now surrender our lives to you in the name of Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King. Amen.

Have a peaceful day. 💕🙏
