Surrendering All to Jesus

Meditation:

    Are you shackled by a heavy burden? Is sin weighing you down? Why not surrender it all to Jesus Christ? To surrender means the act of yielding totally to one's will or giving up the possession of something, especially into the power of another. To surrender all to Jesus Christ means we have forsaken everything and have decided to live by His will. There is a point in every person’s life when they need to stop resisting God and yield and surrender to Him. When you forsake all and surrender your heavy burdens of unconfessed sin unto God, your heavy burdens will be lifted, and you will be set free. If iniquity is in your heart, put it far away from you and let God have his way. When we allow God to order our steps and direct us, our burdens will be lifted, and the raging storms will be calm and treacherous seas controlled. Surrender all to Jesus Christ and allow Him to lift your heavy burden. Surrender all to Jesus; He will never forsake you. He is waiting to bless you and give you, His peace.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, ruler of the universe, in your hands I surrender my soul, heart, mind, body, families, friends, talent, resources, finances, and everything I own. Lord, I surrender my entire life to you, my past, present, and future. Heavenly Father, I surrender my strength, weaknesses, failures, sins, abilities, emotions, health, finances, and fears unto thee, O God. Almighty God, please take all my heavy burdens, my guilts, and everything that weighs heavily on my heart because I cannot bear these burdens alone. Into your hands I commit everything, O Lord. Sweet heavenly dove, I beseech you not to forsake us nor consume us in your wrath when the spirit of disobedience overpowers us. During these moments of weakness, fill us with your love, O God, and revive us again. Take authority and guide us, O thou great Jehovah, as we forsake worldly pleasures to dwell in your presence in the name of Jesus Christ, our advocate. Amen.

    How would we have carry on and how far would we have gone with the heavy load and burden of sin. It is in the new found relationship with Jesus Christ that we are able to lay aside every weight and sin that easily besets us and run with patience the race that is set before us. We cannot be effective dragging weight while running. We must be light. Let us shake it off and let the devil take it back. May the good Lord bless and keep you.

The Death of The Wicked

Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 33: 1-20 Praise song: Only a Look   Meditation:      All of us have an appointment with death, which we cannot cancel, for all must die. Nevertheless, there is a difference between the death of the sinner and the death of the redeemed. When the redeemed die, they will one day be resurrected to eternal life, but the ungodly to eternal torment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:1-7 Worship song: Ninety and Nine   Meditation:      After an extensive search for a misplaced document that held significant importance, I experienced an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety. Finally, I decided to discontinue the search and reluctantly accepted the possibility of its loss, though I remain hopeful. Reflecting on this experience, I imagine the Lord's feelings when the ones he loved turn away from him and refuse to surrender. When we resist his call, we must remember we are precious and valuable in God's sight and his love is unconditional.
