The Little Fox That Spoils the Grape

Good morning

Scripture Reading: Romans 6:19-23

Worship Song: How Deep the Fathers Love.

Meditation:

Dust covered the once well-polished furniture, making it difficult to identify its original color and beauty. So, it is the sins we ignore that slowly germinate in us, making it difficult to recognize the beauty of God's masterpiece. We refer to the little sins as minor and insignificant, but they are powerful and dangerous enough to disrupt our spiritual growth. These are the sins that take root deep in our unguarded hearts, which, if not detected, give way for deception to emerge and darken our spiritual vision. When a fleshly desire is conceived in the heart, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is compiled, it destroys our faith and our relationship with Jesus Christ.

When the little sins are accumulated, they find their way into our hearts, where they take root and then spread like a green bay tree. Don't you know that little sins are like the little foxes? When we hoard little sins in our hearts instead of confessing them, they will accumulate over time and will eventually erode our good intentions. Little sins give leeway for bigger sins to materialize and damage our potential to become Christlike.  There is a penalty for all sins, but we can escape the penalty awarded for sin when we sincerely repent and confess all our sins, laying them down at the foot of the cross.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, like the psalmist David, I beseech you, Lord, to have mercy upon me according to thy lovingkindness. Father, according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out my transgressions, wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from all my sins. Order my steps in your word, dear Lord, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Merciful Father, guard the gateway to my heart and shield it from sinful residue. Mighty God, I plea with you, Lord, to help shield my heart from corruption, sin, and iniquities and let not sin empower me and take any dwelling within me. Merciful Father, increase my awareness of your desires and grant me the spirit of discernment so I can competently yield to the prompting of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. Amen. 💕🙏

 Keep safe.

  1. The ongoing disease and plague of sin is a constant mess that requires clean up. We must live at the foot of the cross to be help. As we become aware let us stay clean. What can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of Jesus. Let us plunge there in and be clean. Shalom.
