Whatsoever Thou Sowest

Good morning

Scripture reading: Galatians 6:1-10

Praise song: Sow mercy

Meditation:

Everything in life starts with a seed. God had designed all the different plants to yield produce after their own kind. Therefore, if a farmer tills the soil and sown peas, he is expecting to reap peas. There are good and bad seeds, so we should be careful what seeds we sow because whatever a man sows, he will one day reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. The type or portion of what we sow determines the type or portion of our harvest, so whatever we sow, we shall reap the reward.

If we sow compassion, love, peace, and kindness, expect favorable rewards. And if we sow hatred, bitterness, envy, and strife, expect to reap sorrow. Our seeds will produce a return regardless of the soil. Therefore, we should think seriously about the seeds that we are sowing because the harvest is always more than the seed. As you sow today, ensure the seed you sow brings spiritual profits with lasting rewards.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, merciful redeemer and friend, our comforter and helper, I give you thanks, O Lord, for your word of wisdom. Almighty God, we are aware through your words that the seeds we sow, whether good or bad, will yield their produce, and we will reap the reward. I pray, Lord, that your word will pierce through hardened hearts and begin to germinate. Father, many of us have sown the wrong seeds, and our harvest is not favorable, but I pray, O God, that you will grant mercy, that your grace is sufficient to eradicate that which was planted in deceit. Father, many seeds were planted while we were in our trespasses and sin, but I pray, O God, that whatever we have sown to the flesh, your mercy will cancel. Father, as we walk in newness, as we sow to the spirit, may our lives be transformed by the renewing of our minds through Jesus Christ our Advocate. Amen.

Have a joyful day. 💕🙏
