An Arrest Warrant is Issued
Good morning
Scripture reading: Colossians 2:13-15
Worship song: Rescue
Meditation:
An arrest warrant is a powerful legal document signed by a judge or magistrate granting law enforcement the authority to make an arrest. Every day, these warrants are prepared and served to ensure justice is upheld. In our walk of faith, there are three warrants we must recognize: the arrest warrant from God, the warrant from the enemy, and the judicial warrant issued based on probable cause that a crime has been committed. The warrant from God is for our greater good, to break chains and liberate us from sin. This is why he sent his son into the world not to condemn us but to redeem us to himself. When we humbly plead guilty and confess our sins, He is faithful and just in forgiving us and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
When we surrender, God will cancel every legal violation
against us and completely erase the old arrest warrant that once stood to
indict us. He will remove it totally from our records, never to be retrieved.
On the flip side, the warrant issued by the prince of this world is to convict,
punish, and enslave his guilty followers to life imprisonment. You have the
privilege and power to choose your path. You can either heed the conviction of
the Holy Spirit or allow the prince of this world to enslave you. Remember, if
the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts and return to
the LORD, He will have mercy upon them and abundantly pardon them. The life you
choose to live will determine where you spend eternity.
Let us pray:
Father, we praise You for your unconditional love and unmerited favor. I give you thanks, Lord God, for erasing the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, taking it out of the way, and nailing it to the cross. Thank you, Almighty God, for apprehending us and giving the Holy Spirit the authority to search, convict, and guide us to live in Your purpose. Father, daily we seek Your help and guidance; protect us from the enemy's plans of imprisonment. Deliver us, O God, from the stronghold of the enemy and from any enslavement to sin in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.
Have an awesome day. 💓🙏
God is at work for us every day. Since the days of sacrifice for sin through animals and now through His son Jesus Christ, we no more have to carry the burden of sin. We are wash in His fountain and cleanse by His blood. We are no longer bound, nor more chains holding us. One will never imagine how enjoyable freedom is until it is taken away. Let us live that sin have no more dominion over us. God bless you for your post always. They are always interesting. May God continue to shine on you.
