Rejoice With Exceeding Gladness

Good morning

Scripture reading: Revelation 21:2-7

Hymn: No Tears in Heaven

Meditation:

O weary soul oppressed by grief and pain, rejoice and be exceeding glad because there is coming a day when weeping will cease. Through the ransom of the Lord, we have obtained joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will vanish. Look forward with unwavering patience to the faithful promise of the Lamb who stands supreme and shepherds us to springs of living water, wiping away every tear from our eyes. As you try desperately to overcome life's struggles, fear not or be dismayed, for God will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with his righteous right hand. The challenges and difficulties you encounter, the tears that block your vision, will soon be dried, wiped away by divine love. Although the human frame is prone to suffering affliction, do not be disheartened.

If you lie on your bed of affliction and are hard-pressed on every side, do not feel discouraged. Even amidst persecution, you are not abandoned because the Lord promises he will never leave or forsake us. You may be struck down, but you will not be destroyed. Let us press on to know the Lord, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who promises to comfort us in all our tribulations.

Come to the Lord, you who are acquainted with much grief; come and lay down your yoke, the burden that you have carried for the joy of the Lord, where sorrow, grief, and death hold no power. Wandering soul now is an acceptable time to surrender to Jesus and turn your grief into gladness, your sorrows into joy, and your mourning into dancing. There will be no tears in Heaven; no sorrow awaits us, just joy and gladness.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, we thank you for the assurance of a better place for those who have surrendered to you. Lord God, even amidst grief and pain we will rejoice and remain glad, knowing that there will be no tears in Heaven. We honor you, Almighty God, as you promise to wipe away all tears from the eyes of every believer, erasing sorrow, death, and pain forever.

Thank you, Lord God, for offering us hope and comfort, reminding us that our sorrows will eventually transform into abundant joy. Lord God of compassion, tears are a language that only you understand, so we therefore beseech you to hear our faintest cries as we bow in supplication through our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, the comforter. Amen.

Have a joyful, uplifting day. 😂💞🙏

  1. God has done it before and He will do it again. Done what one may ask! Forgive our sins, provide for us when we lack, deliver us from stress and depression, heal our sick bodies and restore our finances. Whatever the devil stole from us, God will restore.
Ambush lies the evil one against us but the Lord is ready to fire back. We have the victory halullah.
Let us carry on through the storms through the night, help is on its way. It may not come when we need it but it will be on time. Hold fast.
    Shalom. 🙏🙏
