Believe And Receive

Good morning

Scripture reading: St. John 4:46-53

Worship song: Lord I Believe in You

Meditation:

The key to receiving what you desire when it aligns with God's will is unwavering faith, trust, and strong belief. Your faith influences the outcome, and the outcome depends on your expectations. The nobleman travelled approximately 20 miles from Capernaum to Cana, motivated by his belief that Jesus had the power to heal his seriously ill son. When he approached Jesus, he discovered that distance did not prevent him from receiving his miracle. Through the profession of his own belief and the faith of his entire household, his son was healed immediately.

Belief is the driving force that fuels faith. A deep, strong belief is crucial for activating and exercising faith, especially amid uncertainties and doubt. In Matthew 21:22, Jesus assures us, whatever we shall ask in prayer, believing, we shall receive. This promise is also recorded in Mark 11:24, where he instructed us to pray with the confidence that we will receive what we ask for. You must approach God with the assurance that he hears you, cares about your needs, and is fully capable of fulfilling your requests.

Let us pray:

Sovereign King, our miracle-working God, unmatched in power and overflowing with mercy, we express our gratitude for your healing, deliverance, and breakthroughs. We give thanks, O God, for the many ways in which you have demonstrated your care for our well-being. We give thanks, Almighty God, that when we bring our requests to you in sincere and fervent prayer, believing and trusting in you, you hear and answer us. Lord, there is no other help we know; therefore, we lay our burdens, brokenness, struggles, needs, and iniquities before you.

While we do not know how or when you will resolve these issues, we confidently trust your promise to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory. We believe that you are still working miracles, and so we wait for you to change our situation. We believe your grace is sufficient for us to overcome our challenges and weaknesses. We stand firm on your word, Lord God, trusting in your power to heal, deliver, and free. Grant us your peace and empower us with your love in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

Have a peaceful day. ✌💓🙏
