Do Not Compromise Your Belief
Good morning
Scripture reading: Exodus 34:12-16
Worship song: I won't go back
Meditation:
To compromise is to accept standards that are lower than desirable. Too many have compromised their beliefs to chase wealth, fame, lavish lifestyles, or even for the sake of love. We are living in an era of compromise, where even within the house of worship, it becomes the norm to overlook wrong behaviors that oppose God’s law and standards. The lifestyle once portrayed by the people of Sodom and Gomorrah is now accepted as the norm, with God's word and His commands frequently ignored. Today, we see the word of God being diluted by those who profess to be followers of Christ.
Nowadays,
ministers of the gospel are altering the word of God, mixing it with false
teachings, and deceiving and manipulating people for their personal gain. By
altering and compromising the gospel, we break the connection between us and
our Savior. We must remain vigilant, stand firm in the faith, and avoid doctrines
that will cause us to stray from God's truth. Let us, therefore, hold firmly to
the doctrine of Christ and not compromise our biblical beliefs for any form of
earthly gain. It is critical that we remain rooted and grounded in the word,
holding firmly to our beliefs, and do not trade our souls for temporary
happiness.
Let's pray:
Jehovah God, I rise to exalt your holy name and give you thanks for grace, joy, peace, and the uncommon favor you have bestowed upon us. I am grateful to you, O God, for your word, which clearly outlines your precepts, commandments, statutes, and expectations of us. Heavenly Father, as I reflect on what it means to compromise, may we, as children of God, resist the temptation that threatens our faith, our relationship with you, God, and our profound beliefs. Mighty God, may we never sacrifice the blessings you have granted us for temporary pleasure.
Abba Father, empower us to stand strong against trials and temptations. I declare that the spirit of compromise will have no dominion power over us. Many have turned away from their beliefs and many have altered the word to suit their lifestyles, But I pray, Heavenly Father, for the spiritual intervention of the Holy Spirit to reveal the hidden truth. Almighty God, may we continue to endure sound doctrine and live by the truth of your word. Help us to recognize spiritual compromise; open our eyes to see clearly, and empower us to live boldly for you, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
Be encouraged. 💕🙏
Blessed morning. God is faithful. I've been through enough to know you'll be enough for me. You've come through many times. That put my mind at ease for good. I'll stake my very life, you're gonna take care of me. Cause I've been through enough to know you'll be enough for me. Loving God, help me to always remember that I serve a God that is greater than all my troubles, and you make all things possible. Thank you for always being faithful to me. Amen. Stay Blessed 🙌
