Meditation:

    There is a fierce spiritual battle constantly taking place in our minds, the flesh warring against the Spirit. At times, our minds become consumed by the things that the flesh craves. It is crucial to take control of our minds; otherwise, the fleshly thoughts that occupy our minds can easily manifest into reply the moment the opportunity arises. The devil seeks to bombard us with ungodly thoughts, desperately trying to infiltrate our minds with past indulgence and fleshly desires. However, we must maintain control of our minds, resist the devil, and he will flee. Whatever we choose to focus on will significantly influence the way we live our lives, whether negatively or positively. Our choices determine our future outcome. 

    Be mindful of the things of the flesh and eradicate them from the mind before they manifest. When your thoughts are occupied with things not conducive to godly living, do not be disheartened; seek divine intervention and allow God authority over your thoughts. Our thoughts are the driving force behind our actions; therefore, it is essential to focus on what is pure, just, lovely, honest, and of good report. Pursue righteousness, faith, charity, and peace, and surround yourself with those who call on the Lord.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, merciful, compassionate, and faithful, I thank you for the victories won in our minds. Father, grant us power over our thoughts and what we allow to occupy our minds. Almighty God, when the flesh threatens to dominate the spiritual aspect of our lives and when we are about to yield to temptation, empower us, O God, and bring our thoughts under subjection. Give us the willpower to dwell on things that are holy, honest, pure, and lovely. Father, bestow upon us the strength to resist temptation and avoid sinning against you. We surrender our weaknesses and every sin that easily besets us under your subjection. Almighty God, tear down every stronghold, cast away every imaginary thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of You. Lead and guide us, great Jehovah, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    Christian soldiers, the war is on, it is intensified on all fronts. Let's us stay armed and avoid all elements of surprise. The devil is only effective when we are not armed nor veligiant. Always let the word dwell in us richly because if not we will become weak no matter how high on the mountain we were yesterday, the devil wait at the foot of the mountain when we come for a drink to restore our soul. Keep living, keep praying, trusting and believing because some how God will come to our rescue. Shalom my friend. 🙏🙏💪
