Day of prayer - Pulling Down Strongholds

 

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Let us pray:

    Sovereign God, I come boldly to your throne of grace to sacrifice praises and surrender my heart, mind, body, and well-being. Father, I repent of sins known and unknown and ask that you cleanse and purify my heart of every ungodly thought and desire. Merciful and compassionate Father, we seek your divine direction and trust that you will take authority over the affairs of our hearts, O God. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command every stronghold that limits our potential, hinders spiritual growth, and disrupts our relationship with you to be broken. 

    Through the power that you have bestowed upon us, we claim freedom from negative influences, fear, addiction, immorality, disobedience, delay, suicidal thoughts, sickness, poverty, disappointment, and rejection. We relinquish all ties with foreign gods and declare our liberation from oppression, deception, and the manipulation of Satan and his cohorts of darkness. 

    By your authority, Lord, we break curses, dismantle strongholds, and sever ties with familiar spirits. We declare victory over every stronghold the enemy has on our finances, health, relationships, and minds. We nullify and deactivate the power of every monitoring spirit assigned to disrupt our spiritual growth and well-being. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through you, O God, for pulling down strongholds. We dismantle every opposing force that threatens our relationship with You, Almighty God, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    Opposition is everywhere. Anytime good surfaces expect evil will present itself. It behoves one to be vigilant at all times so there are no surprise attacks that will inflict severe damage. One must seek to be at full strength so as to be effective in all fight. Stay strong. Blessings.

Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 8:31-39 Worship song: If God Is for Me   Meditation:      With God on your side, no enemy can truly triumph over you, even when it seems they are succeeding during persecution or tribulation. It may look like they are succeeding when they mock us or threaten us, but God's purpose and support for us are far greater than any force against us. Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Nonetheless, they regularly transgressed against the Lord and returned to idolatry, and for that, many of them did not reach the promised land.
