Meditation:

    We are misled into believing that when we accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour, all our troubles will go away and our lives will be perfect, but this is not the reality. In this world, we will be tested by the enemy, and we will have tribulation, but we must remain courageous and be of good cheer for he who dwells within us has overcome the world. God did not promise we would not encounter hardship. He did not promise we would have a perfect life here on earth. What he promises is his peace and that he will never leave nor forsake us. 

    Consider Job, a man of integrity, seen by God as perfect and upright, a man who eschewed evil, yet faced unimaginable trials as detailed in the book of Job. Every situation we encounter, whether it is sickness, tribulations, financial struggles, relationship issues, or spiritual battles, will ultimately work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to His purpose, not ours. God knows everything we are going through, and He will not fail. 

    Do not doubt, for God is still in control, and whatever unfolds, he alone must be glorified. While God works, we must be patient and fully surrender to Him, trusting the process, even when things seem impossible, and we don't see a way out. God will work His purpose out for the good of those who serve Him wholeheartedly. Let the word of God be the standard of our lives and allow him to fulfill His purpose for our benefit.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, we have so many questions about situations we don't understand; however, we stand firm in our belief that all things, not some, will indeed work together for good for those who sincerely love and serve you faithfully and wholeheartedly. Almighty God, we solely depend on you to empower and strengthen us to endure all our struggles while we patiently wait on you to work out your purpose. Lord, we declare to conform to your will, trusting your judgment because you know what is good and favorable for us. God of the impossibilities, you are still in control, and you have never failed a mission, so we declare to trust you completely in every situation, believing that no one can triumph over us for you are with us. Father, of the impossible you deserve all glory, so we exalt your holy name through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 139 Worship song: Where Can I Go   Meditation:      Overwhelmed with emotion, the Psalmist reflects on God's incredible, infinite power and omnipresence, marveling that God is intimately acquainted with every detail of his life, even his most hidden thoughts and feelings. God's wisdom and knowledge are unattainable; none has the power to obtain them. While we can earn academic titles, and be blessed with the spirit of discernment, we can never earn the boundless wisdom and knowledge that belong only to God. The Psalmist acknowledged that God's power is beyond human understanding. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Nonetheless, they regularly transgressed against the Lord and returned to idolatry, and for that, many of them did not reach the promised land. Squatters Occupying the Land

Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives. Satan and his cohorts will remain inhabitants until we actively invite Jesus Christ into our lives to forcibly evict these unwanted spiritual tenants.
