 Meditation:

    Before we met Jesus Christ, our track record was tarnished by the works of the flesh and corrupted by our iniquities. Our sinful nature and our desire for worldly pleasures have led us down the wrong path and into many danger zones. Many of our struggles and heartaches were and are a result of our refusal to obey the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit. Our mistakes and poor decisions could have been avoided if we had heeded and listened to the Holy Spirit when He tried to connect with us. Now we can look back and thank God with a grateful heart for where he has brought us from and the catastrophe he has prevented physically, mentally, and spiritually. 

    The Lord has brought us a mighty long way, out of darkness into his marvelous light. Despite our misguided actions or choices, everyone has an ultimate purpose and destiny they will eventually reach. The path we take, good or bad, will lead us to that final destination.

Let us pray:

    Dear Heavenly Father, I am forever grateful to you for taking me out of the miry clay and anchoring my soul. Jehovah, I will hide your words in my heart that I sin not against you. Abba Father, here I wander like a beggar through the heat and the cold with heavy burdens shackled by sin, untold sorrows, and many scars, but your mighty hand touches me, Lord Jesus, and diverts my attention to you. Father, as I keep my eyes fixed on you, help me not to stray from the path of righteousness. Almighty God, though my flesh and my heart failed, yet through your divine agent, the Holy Spirit, I shall behold you as my King for you, O God are the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. Amen.

Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:11-32 Worship Song: Satisfied   Meditation:      The prodigal son, driven and blinded by his desire for freedom, ultimately faced the harsh truth of his reality, living a life contrary to what he truly valued. Like many of us, he embarked on what he thought was a pursuit of the best life, yet he later discovered that a life lived without Jesus Christ is heavily laden with sin and emptiness. Too often, we find ourselves comfortable in our struggles, settling for the husk of our poor choices instead of embracing the divine grand cuisine that the Lord has prepared for us. Good morning Scripture reading: Revelation 21 Praise song: Jerusalem   Meditation:      This world is unpredictable and full of trials, sadness, and disappointment; nevertheless, we hold onto the divine promise of a restored life through our Lord. A time is coming when suffering will cease, and God will bring an end to all sorrow, sickness, and death. While we look forward to the future, our focus should be on serving God fully and living his way. This life is a journey, not our final destination. For those who place their trust and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, eternal life is assured. Good morning  Scripture reading: 2 Peter 1: 1–10 Worship song: Worthy Meditation:      In addition to staying pure from worldly corruption and being diligent, Peter's letters outline several specific attributes of good stewardship. He advised us to add these attributes to remain fruitful and fertile. The Apostle Peter describes a process for developing spiritual maturity. His guidelines instruct believers to purposefully adopt Christlike characteristics, behave in a righteous and godly manner, use their gifts to serve others, practice cheerful hospitality, and remain humble. We must actively use the resources God has given us to guide our actions and achieve our purpose.
