The Restorer of The Broken

Good morning.

Scripture reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:23

Worship song: Make Me Whole

Meditation:

Our society is equipped with a vast number of skilled professionals and technicians who provide specialized services in various areas. For example, plumbers are called upon for issues related to piping systems, electricians diagnose and repair electrical problems, auto mechanics perform vehicle maintenance and tests, and physicians attend to our medical and diagnostic needs. Not everyone needs these services, but we are all in need of divine intervention to maintain our physical, mental, and spiritual health.

We all need a Savior who provides the only way to be made right with a holy God, to receive forgiveness, and to have a life of true purpose. Due to our inherent sinful nature and desires, we constantly breach the fundamental principles and standards set by God. We are all sinners in need of God's grace. We need God's mercy to be restored and live holy lives. By seeking God, the source of life and wholeness, we can receive daily strength and complete restoration for our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, awesome and gracious, we stand before the cross and the Lord of grace and mercy as people in need of restoration. Almighty God, as we humbly bow in your presence, we ask that you examine us, O Lord, and prove us; try our reins and our hearts. Almighty God, you alone have the power to destroy both body and soul, and so, Lord, we beseech you to repair our hearts and minds. Cleanse our hearts from carnal weaknesses, iniquities, and fleshly desires. Renew our minds and grant unto us hearts that yearn for holiness and righteousness. Deliver us, O God, from the power of self-will, and help us to accept your plans, will, and purposes for our lives. Father, we open our lives to you, inviting you to renew our minds and lead us to you. We confess our sins and shortcomings and the offenses we have committed against you. We ask for your mercy to repair the damage we have done and to guide us back to you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

May the peace of God cover you always. ✌💕🙏
