Meditation:

    God created the first humans, Adam and Eve, giving them dominion and free will, but with one prohibition: not to eat from the forbidden tree. When they disobeyed this specific command, they broke their covenant with God, which ultimately led to the Fall of Man. Their act of disobedience, damaged humanity's relationship with God, bringing about a condition of inherited sinfulness and intensified suffering for all mankind.  

    As earthly inhabitants, we have transgressed God's laws, altered His ordinances, and broken His everlasting covenant. We are given free will to choose, but because of the hardness of our hearts, we choose to meddle in evil instead of good. What choice have you made that is not in alignment with the will of God? Have you broken God's covenant to satisfy your selfish desires? God is still waiting and pleading for mankind to return unto him, turn from wickedness, reconcile, and surrender to Him for the remission of sin.

Let us pray:

    Righteous Father, thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor. Almighty God, you have created all things, and for your pleasure, they were created, and so, Lord, we ask you to help us align our will to your divine will. Father, we give you authority over our lives to slay self-righteousness, self-will, and selfish desires. We look to you to crucify self-indulgence and cause us to depend solely on you, O God. Lord, enslave our hearts with thy matchless love and deliver us from the power of the strongholds that held us captive. Ignite, O God, the fire of the Holy Spirit within us and bring us to a place where we can feel your anointing power. Almighty God, I pray that the things we choose to do are in alignment with your desires and your will and that the decisions we make and/or are about to make will not transgress against your law nor in any way break the covenant you have made with us. Father, engrave us in the hallowed palm of your hands and hide us in your pavilion in the secret places of your tabernacle in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Good morning Scripture: St. John 21: 1-13 Praise song: What a Lovely Name   Meditation:      The story of Jesus inviting the disciples to come and dine reminded me of times as kids when we would be outside playing, and our mother would interrupt our fun by calling us to come inside, saying dinner is ready. While the disciples were busy fishing, Jesus was preparing roast fish and bread for breakfast. The disciples were invited by Jesus to come and dine with Him shortly after he had suggested that they cast their net on the other side. To dine with the master was a great opportunity for fellowship and communion, far exceeding a mere social invitation; it signified being invited to share a meal at the same table in his presence. Good morning Scripture reading: Isaiah 59:1-8 Worship song: Nothing Can Separate   Meditation:      The love of Christ is limitless; it does not come with any condition; therefore, it does not depend on our actions or character. There is nothing we can do to diminish or destroy his love for us, and nothing can separate us from his love. Apostle Paul in Romans 8 proclaims that no one can separate us from the love of Christ, not even tribulation, persecution, famine, death, or angels. Though it is not possible to change how much God loves us, we can cause God to turn his face away from us. God's Covenant with Humans

Good morning Scripture reading: Genesis 9: 8-17 Worship song: Covenant Keeping God   Meditation:      Sin among men was so prevalent and blatant that God decided to wipe out the entire nation. But, although His wrath was kindled because of man's rebellion, and though He regretted making man, he didn't destroy them all because one man makes a difference. Noah and his family were preserved from the Great Flood because of Noah's righteousness and obedience to God's commands. The Bible describes Noah as a righteous man, blameless in his generation, who walked faithfully with God. Therefore, after the flood, which wiped out the entire nation, God established a covenant with Noah.       The covenant God made with Noah affirms His commitment to creation.
