Meditation:

    We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that there is no temptation we experience that is not common among humans. There is absolutely nothing we can do to avoid being tempted, and none of us is exempt from being beguiled. Satan is crafty and cunning, so much so that he thought he could beguile the Son of God. The only power Satan has over us is temptation; when confronted with a situation that appeals to our human desires, we are all capable of succumbing to that pressure. 

    Temptation is not easy to resist, but God's promise assures us that we will not be tempted above that which we can endure. No doubt there will be times when we fail the test because we rely on our own strength, because we become distracted, and because we ignore the warning signals. Whenever you are tempted, remember that you are not alone and that you will never face this test alone. The Lord is always with us, and the Holy Spirit is at work empowering us to crucify the fleshly desires that war against the spirit man. Be of good courage, you shall overcome.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, I worship you, Lord God Almighty, for you are worthy to be praised. Almighty God, I realize that the closer we get to you, the more we seek your face, the more Satan intensifies the temptation, but, Lord, we trust you to deliver us out of them all. Father, O Heavenly Father, we cannot bear these trials alone. Father, the devil is banging hard, and he is trying to defeat our purposes with his enticing words and the glitter and glamour of this world, so we need you, Lord, to strengthen us, lest we crumble under the pressure. Almighty God, our hearts are willing to do what is lawful and right, but the flesh is vulnerable. Lord, we sometimes pretend that all is well, relying on our own strength, but God, this morning, I seek your divine intervention to help us combat this ongoing test of our enduring faith. We acknowledge, Lord, that small sins can corrupt our hearts and minds. Almighty God, we humbly beseech you for strength and divine intervention, asking for your help to resist Satan's persuasions, and grant us the grace to flee all temptation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    The Lord is our present help in times of trouble. Our victories are as a result of ongoing war between the spirit and the flesh. The winner will determine which one we feed more. Let us march forward in the name of the Lord. He already secured our victory. Let us magnify His Holy name. 💪🙏

Good morning Scripture: St. John 21: 1-13 Praise song: What a Lovely Name   Meditation:      The story of Jesus inviting the disciples to come and dine reminded me of times as kids when we would be outside playing, and our mother would interrupt our fun by calling us to come inside, saying dinner is ready. While the disciples were busy fishing, Jesus was preparing roast fish and bread for breakfast. The disciples were invited by Jesus to come and dine with Him shortly after he had suggested that they cast their net on the other side. To dine with the master was a great opportunity for fellowship and communion, far exceeding a mere social invitation; it signified being invited to share a meal at the same table in his presence. Good morning Scripture reading: Genesis 9: 8-17 Worship song: Covenant Keeping God   Meditation:      Sin among men was so prevalent and blatant that God decided to wipe out the entire nation. But, although His wrath was kindled because of man's rebellion, and though He regretted making man, he didn't destroy them all because one man makes a difference. Noah and his family were preserved from the Great Flood because of Noah's righteousness and obedience to God's commands. The Bible describes Noah as a righteous man, blameless in his generation, who walked faithfully with God.
