Whatsoever Thou Sowest
Good morning
Scripture reading: Galatians 6:1-10
Praise song: Sow mercy
Meditation:
Everything in life starts with a seed that reproduces to produce offspring of its specific type. God had designed all the different plants to yield produce after their own kind. A farmer anticipates a pea harvest from planting peas; similarly, we cultivate the results of our deeds. The quality of the harvest depends on the quality of the seeds sown, illustrating the principle that one will inevitably reap the consequences of their actions. There exist both good and bad seeds, so we should be cautious about sowing seeds, because whatever a man sows, he will one day reap.
They that sow
to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but they that sow to the
Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. The type or portion of what
we sow determines the type or portion of what we harvest. Whatsoever we sow, we
shall reap the reward. If you sow compassion, love, peace, and kindness, expect
favorable rewards, but if you sow hatred, bitterness, envy, and strife, expect
to reap sorrow. Our seeds will yield a return regardless of the soil quality.
Therefore, we should think seriously about the seeds that we are sowing because
the harvest is always more than the seed. As you sow today, ensure the seed you
sow brings spiritual profits with lasting rewards. Your future is determined by
your present actions.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, merciful redeemer and friend, our
comforter and helper, I give you thanks, O Lord, for your word of wisdom.
Almighty God, we recognize that our actions have consequences, and we will
ultimately receive the fruits of our behavior. I pray, Lord, that your word
will pierce through hardened hearts and begin to germinate. Merciful God, many
of us find ourselves facing an unfavorable harvest from the wrong seeds we have
sown. Father, we sincerely confess the seeds that were planted while we were in
our trespasses and sins. We pray, O God, that whatever we have sown to the
flesh, your mercy will cancel. We humbly pray for your mercy and believe that
your sufficient grace can heal our barren fields, uproot and eradicate that
which was planted in deceit. Father, we pray for the renewing of our minds that
our lives may be transformed, as we sow to the Spirit, in the name of Jesus
Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful day. 💞😍🙏
