New Identity In Christ

Good morning

Scripture reading: Romans 10:9-13

Worship song: Jesus Saves

Meditation:

Salvation represents the greatest blessings awarded to humanity as an expression of God's divine love, grace, and mercy. Works do not earn salvation; It is not rewarded by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to God’s mercy, he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit. It is a gift of grace achieved through faith in Jesus Christ's sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection. Salvation means being delivered or rescued by God from the eternal punishment of sin to being restored to a right relationship with Jesus.

Through salvation, we are given a new identity in Christ, which changes our old perspective on life, transforms our mindset, and renews our spirit. We cannot obtain salvation through any source other than through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Salvation is readily available to anyone who believes in their heart and confesses that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Salvation through God’s grace wipes away transgressions, heals the broken relationship with God, and breaks the chains of Satan's bondage to bring believers into eternal life. Salvation is the requirement to get to Heaven, a gift that requires voluntary acceptance.

Now is the acceptable time to diligently work out your own salvation with fear and trembling by taking God’s holiness seriously.

Let us pray:

Everlasting Father, I am grateful for the precious gift of salvation awarded to us as an expression of your loving kindness, grace, and tender mercies. I will greatly rejoice in you, Lord God, for you have clothed me with the garments of salvation, and covered me with the robe of righteousness. Heavenly Father, I lay my unsaved loved ones at your feet. I surrender my worries regarding their salvation, trusting that your Holy Spirit is working in their hearts to bring them to you. Almighty God, I rely on you as my deliverer and fortress, trusting completely in your power for sustenance. Thank you, Heavenly Father for our healing, freedom from Satan's bondage, and restoration. I am profoundly grateful, O God, for your son Jesus Christ's sacrificial offering that enables us access to the tree of life. Thank you, Lord, for exchanging our old life for a new identity in Christ and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen .

Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💕🙏
