Your Prayer Is Heard
Good morning
Scripture reading: St. Luke 1:5-16
Worship song: Holy Forever
Meditation:
Elizabeth and Zechariah faced the heavy burden of being childless in a society that regarded barrenness as a curse, despite being righteous in the eyes of the Lord. Although their petition was not answered at the time they expected, they continued to serve God faithfully. Elizabeth and Zechariah had likely relinquished hope of having a child due to their advanced age and prolonged infertility. However, after years of persistent prayer, Zacharia's request was finally fulfilled when God blessed him with a uniquely anointed son in his old age. Gabriel not only announced to Zacharias that he would have a son, but also provided a prophetic description of the child's specialized character and destiny.
Like Zechariah, you may have prayed persistently until you gave up
hope. Be encouraged; prolonged waiting does not imply that God has not heard
your prayers. God's silence in your situation does not mean denial. Continue to
serve faithfully and trust in God, for prayers made in accordance with His will
are always answered. God works behind the scenes, preparing the stage for
something greater than you have requested. Everything God does is intentionally
designed to serve a higher purpose. While our plans are often hurried, God's
purpose is never rushed; He is an on-time God.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, I surrender all my desired expectations and
deadlines to You, resting in the confidence that Your ways are higher and Your
time is perfect. Strengthen my heart as I wait, and help me to trust in Your
perfect timing, for I know You are working behind the scenes, orchestrating
events in alignment with Your divine will. Father, there are many things I
do not comprehend and much I need to learn but I trust the Holy Spirit, my
Counselor to teach, guide, instruct, and reveal all I need to know about so
that I may serve you faithfully and live according to your divine will. Grant
me wisdom to interpret your word, O Lord, and understanding to follow its
teaching. When I feel hopeless, remind me to cast my burdens upon you, Lord in
Jesus' name. Amen.
Wishing you divine wisdom. 👏💕🙏
Faith makes all things possible; loves makes all things easy. Blessed morning. I've had many tears and sorrows, I've had questions for tomorrow, there's been times I didn't know right from wrong. But in every situation, God gave me blessed consulation, that my trials come to only make me strong. Through it all, through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus, Ive learned to trust in God. Hallelujah. Pray with me. Loving Father. I can come to You at any time and that You hear me. Please forgive me for the times I doubt whether prayer works or when I feel my faith wavering. I know I cannot do this alone, so I ask that You help my unbelief, as I desire to trust You fully with every outcome. Help me to love You with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength. Help me also to know how much You love me and that You are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Amen. Stay blessed. 🙌🏾
