Meditation:

    We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that there is no temptation we experience that is not common among humans. There is absolutely nothing we can do to avoid being tempted, and none of us is exempt from being beguiled. Satan is crafty and cunning, so much so that he thought he could beguile the Son of God. The only power Satan has over us is temptation; when confronted with a situation that appeals to our human desires, we are all capable of succumbing to that pressure. 

    Temptation is not easy to resist, but God's promise assures us that we will not be tempted above that which we cannot endure. Inevitably, trials will expose our vulnerabilities. We fail these tests when we trust in our own limited strength rather than God’s, when we let our attention drift, and when we ignore the spiritual signs meant to redirect us. 

    Whenever you are tempted, remember that you are not alone and that you will never face this test alone. The Lord is always with us, guiding us through the trials, and the Holy Spirit is at work empowering us to crucify the fleshly desires that war against the spirit man. Be of good courage; you shall overcome.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, I worship You, Lord God Almighty, for You are worthy to be praised. Heavenly Father, I recognize that as we draw nearer to You and seek Your presence, the enemy's temptations often grow stronger. Yet, Lord, we place our complete trust in You, knowing You are faithful to deliver us from every trial. Almighty God, our spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. We cannot bear these trials alone, for the devil is banging hard, and he is trying to defeat our purposes with his enticing words and the glitter and glamour of this world, so we need You, Lord. We often rely on our own strength instead of seeking Yours. Please intervene and empower us. Give us the courage to resist the enemy's deceptions and the grace to flee from temptation completely. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    Lord, when I am tempted, help me to remain steadfast and focus, trusting You to empower me with faith and endurance.

    When we are regard as the best quality, this must be verified by fire and so we are. We should not think it strange when we are tempted because any doubt in our believe, faith, and our identification with Jesus Christ will be will be settled in our test. Let us stay strong. 🙏🙏💪💪

Good morning Day of Testimony - Great is God's Loyalty. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
