Who Is Like Unto The Lord
Good morning
Scripture reading: Psalms 113
Worship song: Your Presence Is Heaven
Meditation:
Today, we live in a culture that measures personal worth and wisdom against others' standards, a habit that often hinders our God-given purpose. Romans 11:33 reflects on the boundless wisdom of God, reminding us that some things are far too vast for humans to fully comprehend. God’s infinite worth cannot be measured, nor can His divine authority ever be questioned.
Through a pivotal question, the Psalmist powerfully declares that there is nothing or no one in comparison to the Lord our God. Among all the powers of heaven and earth, there is no one like God, declares the Psalmist; His creations and miracles are completely without rival. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside Him: neither is there any like our God. God is infinitely higher in authority, power, and majesty than all earthly kingdoms and the vast universe.
God, our creator, takes a personal interest in the
helpless and needy, elevating them to leadership roles among the dignified
leaders of His people. Knowing all the magnificent attributes of God, including
His unmerited grace and unconditional love for humanity what better direction
could we ask for than to be safely protected by His divine power? May we
purposefully dwell in the Lord’s presence and faithfully surrender our daily
walk to His divine purpose.
Let us pray:
Heavenly God, infinite and boundless in power, You are the
God who does wonders in all the earth. We affirm Your authority and crown You
as our Lord and Sovereign King. Father, we acknowledge Your infinite wisdom,
Your supreme power, and Your divine majesty over all of creation. Father, we
surrender completely to You, trusting Your ability to govern our lives and help
us make the right decisions. We acknowledge You as our Savior, Redeemer,
protector, provider, shield, and strong tower. Strengthen our faith when doubt
creeps in and remind us of your constant miraculous power. Open our eyes, O
God, to see the circumstances of our lives from Your perspective. Empower us
with the courage to walk obediently in Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
