Meditation:

    Donating blood is a voluntary act in which individuals willingly participate to preserve and save lives. However, not everyone who wishes to contribute is permitted to do so due to medical regulations and health conditions. Blood donors must satisfy all necessary medical eligibility criteria and be in good health to prevent the transmission of bloodborne infections to the recipients. 

    Blood is vital for sustaining life; the life of every creature is in the blood. Consequently, when blood is shed and departs from the body, it signifies the termination of life. Blood also holds spiritual significance as a symbol of atonement. In numerous instances, it has served as a means of spiritual connection with God for the remission of sin. 

    In the Old Testament, the sacrifice of an unblemished, spotless, and non-defective (not lame) animal was a requirement for atonement of sin, but this practice was no longer a requirement. This practice was replaced through Jesus Christ, who was predestined before the foundation of the world. Through His shed blood, we have redemption and forgiveness of our sins. 

    Today, our redemption is not achieved through the traditions of our ancestors or with corruptible substances, but through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God.

Let us pray:

    Eternal Father, robed in splendor and majesty, I exalt You, the precious Lamb of God, for You are the great I Am, who takes away sins. Almighty God, there is no greater love than Yours: You lay down Your life to redeem us. We are grateful for Your divine sacrificial offering for humanity. Lord God, I give thanks that we are not redeemed by corruptible substances or the blood of animals but by the precious blood of Christ, the spotless lamb of God who was without sin, blemish, or defects, and who was foreordained before the foundation of the world. Almighty God, we behold You as the holy, precious Lamb of God who was born into sin that we might live again. Thank you, Lord, for the purification of our mind, body, and soul and for restoring and redeeming us from the darkness, through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning Scripture reading: 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Worship song: Ready or not   Meditation:      Sin is defined as acting or behaving in a manner that does not conform to God’s character or commands. As it is written, whosoever sins transgresses against the law of God. Sin is an inevitable aspect of humans' lifestyle; however, to enter the Holy City, the New Jerusalem prepared for the righteous, one must be washed and sanctified in the blood of the Lamb. No individual bearing the stain of sin will be allowed to enter the New Jerusalem.       Heaven is a sacred place, filled with glory and grace. All within its gate are purified from defilement. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life will gain admittance through the pearly gate. Good morning Scripture reading: Mark 10: 46-52 Praise song: Pass Me Not   Meditation;      Blind Bartimaeus stood by the road, begging to meet his basic needs, as he likely had limited alternatives. Nonetheless, he did not accept his blindness as a permanent limitation to his life. He must have heard about Jesus Christ, his love, mercy, and compassion towards others, as well as the numerous miracles he had performed. Pharaoh's strategy to eliminate all newborn male children born of the Hebrews was intercepted by the midwives.
