Who Are Your Advisors?

 Meditation:

    When King Ahasuerus promoted Haman and set him above all the princes that were with him, all the servants that were in the king's gate bowed in reverence to Haman except Mordecai, the Jews. Haman tried everything to persuade Mordecai to bow before him but failed, and therefore he despised him. Consumed by his hatred, Haman sought ways to destroy Mordecai and all the Jews. He was so consumed by hatred and desire to destroy Mordecai that he listened to the advice of those whose hearts were just as evil as his. Unfortunately, Haman was hanged on the gallows he built for Mordecai. Seeking advice from those with evil intentions will always be detrimental. If you are consumed by bitterness, anger, wrath, and envy, if your heart is filled with evil, do not seek advice from someone whose heart is cold and callous, consumed with evil. You cannot overcome evil with evil, but with good. A good advisor provides constructive advice in a way that helps with making the right decisions. 

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, I sing praises unto you, O God, for you are worthy to be praised. Father, I pray, O God, that we will not be blinded by hatred, anger, wrath, and bitterness that consume us and cause us to err. Father, I pray that you will replace our stony hearts with hearts of compassion. I pray, O God, that instead of plotting and scheming against those who have done us wrong, we will find it in our hearts to forgive those that trespassed against us. Father, we are surrounded by evil advisors, those with evil intentions as well as those with sound doctrines, so I pray, O God, that you will lead us to listen to wise counsellors, to those with sound doctrines that will not lead us astray. Father, you said you wish that none perish but that we all come to repentance, and so, God, I pray that you will wash us until every part of us is purified. Cleanse us, Lord, until every part of us is yours and yours only in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen. (Child of the King).

The Death of The Wicked

Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 33: 1-20 Praise song: Only a Look   Meditation:      All of us have an appointment with death, which we cannot cancel, for all must die. Nevertheless, there is a difference between the death of the sinner and the death of the redeemed. When the redeemed die, they will one day be resurrected to eternal life, but the ungodly to eternal torment in the lake of fire prepared for Satan and his cohorts of darkness. While Jesus was speaking to his disciples, he cautioned them not to fear those who destroy the body, but rather to fear him who can destroy both soul and body.        Those who die in Christ should not fear death, for death is not their final destiny. Seeking The Lost at Any Cost

Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:1-7 Worship song: Ninety and Nine   Meditation:      After an extensive search for a misplaced document that held significant importance, I experienced an overwhelming amount of frustration and anxiety. Finally, I decided to discontinue the search and reluctantly accepted the possibility of its loss, though I remain hopeful. Reflecting on this experience, I imagine the Lord's feelings when the ones he loved turn away from him and refuse to surrender. When we resist his call, we must remember we are precious and valuable in God's sight and his love is unconditional. Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 12:1-2 Worship song: Change My Heart Oh God   Meditation:      It is important to realize that our minds can be profoundly influenced by the performance, attitude, moral standards, conduct, actions, and spoken words of others, whether negatively or positively. When we allow ourselves to be persuaded by flattery, praise, and compliments, we risk letting our lives be fashioned by others' opinions instead of our convictions. We must remember that Satan is a master of manipulation, seeking to invade and control our thoughts to influence our actions. We must be able to discern and recognize deceptive influences.       When we focus our minds on Christ, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will safeguard our minds.
